I am a professional caregiver. I am honest and trustworthy and dependable. I have empathy. I have been in this profession for almost 11 years. I am very caring and compassionate. I care about my clients wants and needs. I take my job very serious. I enjoy working with people who need assistance. I've been with current employer for 5 years. I also had a private client with dementia for 4 years until she was placed into memory care assisted living as of 12/2017

I became a caregiver because I enjoy helping others in their time in need. I enjoy seeing a smile on others faces after we have accomplished something we did together that they weren't able to do before I meet them. Caregiving is my passion. I feel that when you do what you love you can't go wrong and it doesn't feel like a job. I love that I can help and learn from my elders. I have a deep compassion for hospice. I've worked with families during this difficult time and I feel the best thing to do is to provide comfort to the loved one on hospice in these last days.

I became a caregiver because I'd had a first hand experience taking care of an aunt for over seven years and was training to become a nurse, so it seemed natural to start with home care and I've enjoyed it ever since. I get a sense of accomplishment and reward from caregiving and have always appreciated the holistic aspect of care that I give to all my clients. Caregiving is very personal and intimate in the sense that you're in the client's home, the most vulnerable space, so it is very important to me to provide the client with a comfortable, reliable, and compassionate care that you'd get from a loved one. A personal achievement I am proud of is putting myself through nursing school, it was one of the toughest periods of my life and I thought I'd never make it through. I am very loyal caring and understanding. I will go out of my way to do things that may not be in my job description if I can do it and if not I don't rest till I find a way to get the problem solved. I am very respectful and ask for the same in return. If I am ever faced with a problem, I don't waste time worrying about it, rather I find ways to change the outcome. I believe that I am a great caregiver because every client that I've had in the past have enjoyed my care and we're very sad to see me go, I've never been asked to leave any home and have had most clients entrust me with their home keys and other personal items and most other clients have been very generous during holidays or birthdays without my

I have been a caregiver for 8 years working in senior facilities and with in home care agencies in California. I just moved here to Georgetown, Illinois in March, this year, 2018. When it comes to working with the elderly. I am very dedicated.

The people should be treated as you would want your family members to be treated. I have been doing this kind of work for 20+ years. I frist started at a nursing home in the kitchen and then got my cna.

I have always been very fond of helping people. I believe if we would offer more help the world will be a better place. I love caring and providing aid to others especially the ones that needs it most. Experiencing a sense of accomplishment to me personally does not happen from time to time, I valued helping patients, and therefore I feel its already an accomplishment by the time I go home.

I'm Asian decent who has a love and compassion in my heart from a big family of 15 one Mother And Father we are always connected to each other even we are far away from each other, Mom got car accident and been coma for 9 long years she is vegetables after that accident but the family did not give up on her till one day God took her away from us , same as my Dad is Cancer patient too he pass away before my Mom. Everyday we saw them and understand how life important can be even in your death bed and not giving up. It has to be felt in your heart when you give care , compassion and love that you can give as if that people you care is your love one.Understand their needs in life to go on and not giving up.I been a care giver now for almost 10 years on and off but still I came back the job that I love .

I am a passionate person who genuinely cares about others and their well beings. I moved to Center, Texas three years ago to care for my sister-in-law. Giving up a home and good job was a life changing decision but we felt that God lead us to do what we are doing. We are full time Care Providers foe my sister in law is 75 and suffered a stroke in 2007 that left her paralyzed and bed-ridden. She was in a nursing home from the time of her stroke until the time that we decided to take her out and care for her full time. .I am not only a care provider, I am also a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant and CPR Certified. I became a caregiver because my grandmother came down with an illness and I took care of her and I realized how much i love this work. I became a caregiver starting out to help a family friend. Because I went to school for medical assisting and could not find a career in that, I thought caregiving would be the next best thing. What I like about caregiving is the bond, the connection you build with a potential client. Many of the elderly are being taken advantage of and to prevent that, you need to find someone that is trustworthy as well as reliable. Hello my name is Amber and I currently a Certified Nursing Assistant. I'm currently going to school early mornings till around 4pm for my LVN License. I recently was working as a caregiver before I became a CNA. I'm CPR and First Aid Certified with many other certifications.
