I've always taken enjoyment in aiding the elderly. When I was a teenager I watched over my grandmother who has dementia. I cooked for her, cleaned, gave her medications, bathed her and put her to bed in the evening and I loved it. Over the years I've had a lot of customer service jobs. I've always been a people person so I did really well but there was always something missing. Home Health Care filled it all in for me and I love it because it doesn't feel like work to me.

I am very patient and friendly. I have experience as a caregiver for 4 years and I strive to treat everyone in a respectful way and try to help out as much as I can. I like for them to look at me as a friend not just someone who helps out.

I became a caregiver because growing up I always wanted to help it bring joy to me put a smile on someone face and to be able to help to be the voice that someone doesn't have

I am a very caring individual. I do this because I love to make others happy and comfortable. I seen my mother mistreated in a nursing home and it broke my heart. I do not want that to happen to anyone under my watchful I. I deeply care for each of my patients and I succeed at giving them the love and care they deserve.

I started working in the Home Health Field in 2012 til current. I'm very compassionate and caring for all my clients and treat them and their families as if they were my own!!! I try to provide excellent service and keep my clients up Lifted and in good spirits . I'm dependable and on time, honest and a hard worker. But most importantly I care for my clients it's more then a job it's something I value at heart.

Well I do enjoy helping someone in need. I have 3 children with disabilities. So this seems to be a natural fit for me. I was a hairstylist in Houston,Tx for about 10yrs. I do like working with people but I like a bit more of a one on one situation.

I'm a very passionate person about elderly care . It's been my passion for 20 years . I'm very attentive when it comes to making sure the needs are met . I love making sure residents are taken care . I'm most proud that I took care of my gas cps who had dementia and Alzheimer's for 16 years . I'm cpr certified

I am a very caring and compassionate person. I try to see myself in my clients situation and how I would like to be treated. It brings me great satisfaction knowing that I can help others in need and enjoy connecting with my clients personally.

What makes me a great at being a care giver is I have passion and heart for the people who I care for. Why did I become a care giver? A friend told me about the company I'm working for now. They were short handed so with it being my first I thought OK I'll give it a go and fell in love with what I do. Just knowing that I can be there for my client and helping them in any which way that I can its an awesome feeling. What do I like about being a care giver? Walking into the home of my client's home and seeing the smile I am able to put on their face. Knowing they feel safe and having that comfort of trust its amazing. What is a personal achievement I am proud of? I'm proud to know that I have clients who request for me to be at their homes to help them out and around the house and what they need to be done. My clients request for me because I develop trust and bond with my clients. I'm proud to say, I as well make them feel safe and secure as well.

I don't know what makes me a great caregiver. I do know I love caring for people in general. I work at a Day care for five year caring for little people. Being in the field of daycare made me realize I like taking care are people in general to where I would like to take care of others like my grandfather and Grandma. I feel like taking care of elderly people you should take care of them like your family. With the other way there is not a dull moment and that's why I love being a caregiver. Everyday is a learning experience. And in this field I can't pass that up. My model is love them like family. The only reason I say that because I do not want someone to teat my grandmother or grandfather just anyway but with love. I guess that is what makes me a good caregiver just loving people.

Hello my names shekyra I've been in the caregiving field since 2011 currently going to school to get my cna I love being a companion to the elderly because when my grandmother passed in 2011 I made sure her time her up until her passing was comfortable as possible that's what attracted me to this field and that's why I love it I'll be finished with my cna classes by December 2024 and can further my skills by traveling more and being the comfort the elderly needs when their families are absent

I became a caregiver because I enjoy the company of people older than me. They have the funniest and most amazing stories.So many elderly people either have no family or their families are too busy and can't take care of them themselves,and that's where we come in. I've lost both parents both of which I helped care for. I've worked with only a handful of people as a caregiver and have enjoyed each one. I unfortunately lost one after just a few months of caring for her. It felt like losing a family member. I treat all my "clients" like I would like someone to treat my parents. I will and have gone out of my way for anyone under my care. Just like I would for any one of my family.

I love helping people in general, but children and older people or should I say disable people has been my passion. I use to go to work w ith my mother and grandmother.They did this type of work.I enjoy the talks and companionship that me andx the client have.Its a great job but you have to know w hat you are doing and have a heart for it

I became a caregiver because my mom had got sick and she need help so I became a caregiver. I like the fact that I can communicate with clients. My achievements are to is finish my work on time. Well a little about me is I graduated from college at Everest int. as a medical assistant. All my life I like to help people because that's what I like doing.

ive been doing nursing for about 37 yrs I love the one on one basis and I love taking care of people I love to clean cook and running errands for the client I enjoy talking with the client and doing what ever is needed ive achieved all the years getting to know the client how they have experienced their age and how they enjoy being helped and having company to communicate with that's why I know im a great caretaker
