WHAT MAKES ME AGOOD CAREGIVER WATCHING MY MOTHER AS ALIL GIRL MY MOTHER WAS A REGISTER NURSE ALS MY OLDEST SISTER THEY WERE ALWAYS PASSIONATE ABOUT HOW THEY TREATED THEIR PATIENTS ALWAYS PRAYING OVER THEM SINGING TO THEM AND ALWAYS TELLING THEM THEY LOVED THE AND I ALWAYS LOVE HELPING THE ELDERLY WHEN I WAS YOUNGER AND AS I GOT OLDER ME AND MY BABY SISTER BECAME A CNA WE LOVE TO HELP THE ELDERLY BECAUSE THEY WERE MOTHERS AND FATHERS TOO SOME WERE TEACHERS LAYWERS DOCTORS NURSES AND THEY CANT DO FOR THEMSELVES ANYMORE AND THATS WHERE I COME IN WOULD NOT HAVE IT ANY OTHER WAY I LOVE WHAT I DO

I really enjoy working with seniors and have always been drawn to them. All of my jobs in the past few years have been in nursing homes or a clients home and I genuinely love what I do...I never feel like I'm at work. I am a 45 year old female that loves working with the elderly. I have a lot of patients and understanding. The reason I chose to be a caregiver was due to the bad care my grandmother got. I enjoy listening to the stories they have to tell, and I treat them like they are my own grandparents. I even attended college so I could become educated in different illnesses.
