I became a Caregiver because it gives me an opportunity to assist, encourage and make a difference in the lives of my clients. I enjoy making my clients comfortable, see them smile, love them as a person and listen to their many stories. A personal achievement I am proud of is when I heard a client who have never spoken a word in many months from the time I started working with her, turned towards me one day during lunch and asked me if she could have a piece of my lunch. I felt so good, I cried a little). I have been working as a Caregiver/Companion for over 15 years. I look forward everyday when working to having a wonderful and fulfilled day with my clients.

Being a Caregiving is an extremely rewarding job. As a Caregivers I take care of our elders, the people who have given so much to this world. Taking care of people is something I'm very proud of. ... Some residents become lonely or sad, but being a great caregiver helpsthem change there mood for the better. What I enjoy most about caregiving is getting to help other people in there time of need.

I can say that I am a good caregiver because I have this empathy and compassion towards people especially to our elderly. I love providing care to those that would otherwise not be able to do so. I have two years of certified nurse assistant experience mainly working with elderly clients but can work with any age group. The companies I worked with previously are home health care agencies. 1.I became a caregiver when I was teenager and being around my mother who was a CNA and helping her when she assisted her clients.
