I love caring for the elderly. They are so wise and have so much knowledge. As a, young child I had to help my grandma with daily activities such as cooking, cleaning and,making sure she took her medication. And I love helping her it made me feel warm inside. From then on I knew I wanted to help the elderly. I'm also a CNA and CPR and first aid certified. Im also work for tenncare @ The Choices Program. Therefore if your love one is on TennCare I can work for you at NO COST.

I have been in the field now for five years, and I appreciate every moment that I shared taking care of that special loved one. I'm compassionate, dependable, and value the quality of life.

I am a loving care giver for the elderly. I"ve spent time taking care of my mother and father in their olden age. I swore that I would do what's possible to take care of them to keep them out of the nursing home and I succeeded. I feel that no parent should be outside their home in their old age if possible. So I sacrifice my job to take care of them. I have a compassion for the elderly to take care of them in their home and etc. I would treat them with dignity and honor and respect that they deserve. I would treat them as if they were my own parents. I'm patient, respectful, positive, self motivation skills, communication skills, and Empathy. I also know how to work under pressure.

I am a very patient person who has done personal care ever since I was in undergraduate school starting with a blind/death teenager and I became very close with his family. I have also worked at a disabled facility for 0-21 years of age and have experience with using a lift as well as experience with G tubes. I have experience with patients who are susceptible to seizures as well. I have also had the pleasure of working one on one with children with behavioral issues as well as have volunteered at senior facilities including assisted living homes. I pride myself on paying attention to the needs of the patient and actually getting to know them and providing the utmost care as if they were my family.

I have working as a caregiver for 11 years and I love it. I enjoy every minute of my job, I love taking care of others. I started in 2008 after I gave birth to my daughter and never stopped, I took a Nurse Aide class about a year ago and received a certificate of completion. I am schedule to take my state certification test July 13, 2019. Being a Nurse has been a career goal since I was 5 years, and although it is taking me some time to reach my goal, I am determined to get there.

In 2004 my father n law call asked me would like to care and watch for his brother n law he wasn't doing to good in health wise, his wife was a school teacher, couldn't do it alone, they had a nurse also who would come and do there duties to. I'd watch as she did her job to get a few pointers and learn different skills. As I went to work every day I started to love my job more the bonding and listening to the clients you learn so much seeing the glow on there faces and smile gives you reassure that everything is good ok..when he passed I continue on making caregiving my career it's my passion I love it and wouldn't trade it for the world..

I became a caregiver when I took care of my grandmother after she was diagnosed with cancer. That led me to work in a nursing home for a year and then moved to home care because I wanted to do one on one in home care. I have 10 years experience with many different individuals. Taking care of the elderly is my passion. I am proud today that I have been able to help keep someone's loved one at home and out of a nursing home.
