Hello, my name is Shaniqua I like to go by shai, I love to relax and to help others, helping people makes me feel so great in the inside just knowing I can be the change for someone or I can be the reason they're content and happy is everything to me. Recently my mom went through a major surgery and it caused me to quit my job and stop everything I had going on in my life to take care of her because she couldn't do anything. When I started taking care of my mom it helped me realized what I could do for a life time and I could never even get tired taking care of her was a push for me. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is being able to do for others and go above and beyond catering to them and making them feel comfortable and happy. A personal achievement I am proud of is always being that caregiver for any family members of mines that needs it because they all know I'm the most patient and caring one they can all call on.

What attracted me to caregiving was when I was young and had to help my elders around then the past few years I've been helping my aunt with her medicine reminder's and pickups help her in and out the shower help her get dressed when needed and cook for her and meal prep. What I enjoy most is building a bond with my patients and becoming family and treating them like they still exist. My personal achievement is me staying strong in school and still striving and going strong through the hardest times.

What attracted me to care giving is watching my grandma take care of my family members and I always looked up to her so I just watched and learned certain things she did and caught on to it and just started doing things myself so she could rest as she aged. What I enjoy most about caregiving is learning new things or being able to reach new things as everybody learns and grows together! I became a caregiver because the most important thing to me is helping others, I love making others feel good and easing whatever pain they may have. it makes me proud when others look at me with a sense of gratitude, understanding the genuine love that comes with taking care of others. I am 23 I recently moved to Georgia from Michigan, I am striving to become a pediatric nurse. I have a giving spirit and I am a natural nurturer, as I said before anything I can do to make someone else feel good I will do.

I became a caregiver after taking care of both my grandparents. I was able to take FMLA so that I could help care for them around the clock. My grandmother had pancreatic cancer my grandfather had Alzheimer. I was blessed to take care of them in every private way. I have also been caring for my twin nieces 4 and their 7 year old sister that was through day and night and still continues. Taking care of my loved ones has given me the experience and love that I have for this kind of work
