Caregivers For Seniors

Hi, just want to stop you before you decide to go. I love helping those who can't or need a little extra. I come from a long line of home health aid. Me personally I have roughly 5 years of experience including Hoyer lift, dementia care, medication reminder and passing out meds. I also take care of my Grandmother who has early Alzheimer's disease. I have been a caregiver full time for the last year and half and I love the interaction with my clients. I help them with self care, light house keeping and most of all becoming their friend.

I became a caregiver because I enjoy helping people. I have been a caregiver for over twenty years. I have enjoyed the different people that I have taken care of and helped. I had one client who loved to travel and we went to several places and even on a cruise. I have stayed friends with several people I met while helping my client. I was thrilled to be asked to help the grand daughter of one of my clients who had passed to care for her and her new baby.

Good personality, warm hearts and caring,enjoy the company of seniors,helping with their needs and responsibilities in order to live independently in there home , I enjoy being a caregiver to help people that need help and wants to stay in their home as long as possible .what I am proud of is that senior and family member is satisfied with the service I provided.

I am an outgoing mother of 2. I have 4 grandchildren who I love to spend time with. I enjoy helping and caring for seniors they are very dear to my heart. I enjoy listening to their stories and learning about their lives. I have been certified as a home health aide for over 20 years. We all need a little help from time to time and that is where I come in .

You have to respect your client and make them feel comfortable to work with you. I love to work for Caregiver because I want to see them happy, Smile enjoy with life. I'm so enjoyed with my Caregiver when I see my client Smile and happy when I work with them. I'm so proud when my client live healthy and happy.

Being caregiver means your are stepping in taking on role helping someone in need. Yes , you are responsible for the daily needs of a client. But also , a Companion to those . Many clients lack emotional support. Being a companion to those in need gives me the drive I have to be a great caregiver. Yes helping assisting there needs is a necessity. Also companionship caring spending time , doing fun activities, walks , clients who lack family support , grieving to loss of a spouse or loved one. As a caregiver it is my duty to feel that void and help make there life enjoyable in every aspect. I have helped take care of my elders since I was young, being side by side with my mother while she helped care for my grandmothers who'a health was declining. Being there for them as a caregiver / companion appreciating helping others especially those in need lacking the support they desperately need. I enjoy giving clients my companionship is what I enjoy the most about being a caregiver. A shoulder to lean on , cry on , grieve on , someone's support system. Helping others and giving back is what I'm post proud of. Taking my steps to further my career and learn people from all different backgrounds educating myself on the different needs of clients because not everyone is the same.
