Hello. My name is Marissa. I am a single mom of two children. I have been a CNA for 6 years now! I absolutely love what I do!! I have experience at a nursing home, hospital, hospice, rehab and in home health. I am a compassionate person and love helping and taking care of others! I always treat my patients like they are family!

I am compassionate, and empathetic. I have experience taking care of the elderly, I started with taking care of my grandparents. I possess a strong background in pre-hospital medicine. I have above average documentation as well as assessment skills.. I have always enjoyed taking care of people as its a calling. I'm most proud of my ability to research and develop a cream that speeds up healing and preventing skin breakdown.

I am a Nurse with a great passion for my career in nursing. I have always spent my time caring for others throughout my life including children. I love being that person who can help people to feel more comfortable with their daily activities and their condition or situation. I appreciate the stages of life and the fact that every person is unique in that no two people respond to any situation or illness in the same way which requires a great deal of communication and organization to find what care plan works best for each one. My greatest accomplishment other than being a mother to my two amazing kids, has been becoming a nurse where I have gained additional skills to provide the best care possible.

I believe what makes a great caregiver is that I am passionate about what I do. I've been caring for my grandparents for a long time and I enjoy every minute of it. I love helping people whether it's customers , patients , family or friends.

I am a great caregiver because,there was a time when I was working at a faculty and a client had very bad anxiety when putting her on the stand up hoyer-lift,I started to distract her by talking about her new bright nice yellow shirt and through that I was able to put her on it without no fight, her daily nurse was so shocked, she had issues daily putting her on. I was attracted to care given because I enjoy helping the elderly and being a person to show them love and attention,some don't no longer have any companionship. I enjoy being able to bond with them, and providing everyday needs so that they are comfortable in there homes. I am proud to say I had clients that moved away and when they returned they would find me so that I could work for them again.

I have old family members I like helping, and I like helping anyone who can't help themselves, I like bringing attention to people who feel lonely and put a smile on they face, I like doing my best to keep anyone happy, the most thing I enjoy about caregiver is helping them and make them feel safe, everything I do about caregiver I'm always proud of it cause I always do my best to satisfy them.

1. I grew up always wanted to help people, I believe it stemmed from having a brother who was handicapped, I always had the need to help and try to do my best to make people feel better. 2. I enjoy being a caregiver because I can physically help and encourage people keep their independency which makes me the most happiest. 3. To be honest the most greatest personal achievement; other than having two wonderful children that I am proud of would be passing my CNA test. 4. I am 27 years old and have had my CNA certificate since 2007, I currently work for the ARC of Quinebaug Valley as a Direct Support Provider which I absolutely adore but unfortunately they are not able to offer me the hours I need.

I HAVE BEEN GIVEN THIS CALLING TO BE A CAREGIVER , I TAKE THIS CALLING VERY SERIOUS. AND I DO MY CAREGIVING FROM MY HEART AND SOUL. HAVING A CALLING IS WHAT SETS ME ASIDE FROM JUST HAVING A JOB OR JUST DOING THE JOB,I ENJOY WHAT I DO AS I AM CAREGIVING TO MY LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, A BIG PLUS FOR ME IS WHEN I CAN MAKE MY LADIES AND OR GENTLEMEN SMILE THEN LAUGH OUT OF THEIR DEPRESSION THEN TO SEE THEM ENJOY LIFE AGAIN, (WOW) THERE ISN'T ANY WORD THAT CAN DESCRIBE THAT KIND OF JOY.I ALSO HAVE THIS PERSONALITY TRAIT WHICH IS I TRULY CARE FROM THE HEART PEOPLE CAN FEEL REAL LOVE,AND THAT IS HOW I CAREGIVE.

Im a very caring person, love to take care of others as if they were my Family. I have been working with seniors for about 6 years , Memory Care, Assisted Living and in-home care. I'm a compassionate caregiver CPR first aid certified. I've worked with the Hoyer, sit-to-stand and Alzheimer's and Dementia. I'm available 6am-6 p.m. Mon-Friday.

I have experience working as a CNA/HHA for the last 13 years. I consider myself reliable, helpful, caring, and passionate. I also have some college credits for general studies towards my RN degree. I have been rewarded employee of the month and recommendation letters from the families of past patients I have cared for.

I've experienced caregiving from my grandmother at a very young age. Watching her care for her patients and seeing how having someone help them with needs they are unable to do on their own; giving them the comfort and companionship had put such a positive impact in their lives. It's made me want to give that joy and comfort to those in need and to give them that reassurance that help is never too far from them

I am a 28 year old out going, responsible yet independent female. My first and foremost client has Parkinsons Disease and she was ultimately the one who taught me and encouraged as well as opened a door to a new career. I enjoy talking, providing comfort and trust that make client feel like they know me and Im not just the "Nurse who come to help". I will always provide a safe and clean environment to my clients and they will always know they can count on me. My clients come first and i do my very best to assure that to each and every one of them. I take a lot of pride in my work and am one to be sure of that. I have come a long way entering this career choice and I am happy to say I am certified in CPR/FIRST AID and also registered in the state of California.

I love working with people you all way need someone too take care of a love one and i love what I do and to bring someone in your home you can trust and take care of your love one and to keep your love one at home .

I am a CNA who genuinely cares & wants to make my clients quality of life a little better each day. I became a CNA because I am a kind, patient, cheerful person, and I wanted a job that requires that. Bonding with clients, big smiles on the clients face, and knowing I've helped make someone's life a bit better is what I most enjoy about being a CNA. A personal achievement that I'm proud of is going back to college to finish my degree in Early childhood/special needs education. I have my Maryland board of nursing CNA License, CPR license, and first aide license. All up to date.
