Hello, I am a very cheerful loving person who loves taking care of others and making them smile! I am a mom of two boys, so I can pretty much handle anything thrown my way. I am a college student earning my bachelors degree in healthcare and my associates in medical assisting.

I am a great caregiver because i love to take the time and detail to help someone whether young or elderly. So i became a caregiver because the appreciation they really have for you, that simple smile when you help them knowing you made someones day or morning .However whoever im caring for my best felt achievement is knowing that they feel dignity and self worth and know someones there for them if all else fails because i am. To end this I would like to say about myself is when i take care of someone I see myself in their shoes ,so it makes it more understanding!

I became a caregiver because I grew up seeing my grand parents , my mom, and relatives doing caregivers duties not to get pay, but all for love. I love being a caregiver because providing home caregiving services to those who aren't able to do so anymore. And to get that smile back from them let's me know I'm doing the right thing. I use to help an elderly man at my church, every Sunday he needs helpeople getting ready, getting breakfast ready and a ride to church. I'm 23 years old. I started working as a caregiver when I was 16 years old. I love being organized. I always give 100% and do the best job I can with no exception or excuses. I also try to bring sense of humor to work because it's important to laugh.

I am currently a Nursing student and have been a caregiver for over 10 years. My personality traits are being compassionate, patience and having empathy. I believe empathy and understanding are absolutely necessary to patient's needs. I am detail oriented, cooperative, professional and complete tasks very quickly and accurately. What attracted me to becoming a caregiver is that I enjoy working with people and enjoy the one-on-one interactions with my patients. With a long time work experience as a live-in/live-out caretaker with all my patients who became like family, I helped with bathing, dressing, feeding, lifting and transferring, administering medications which involved pharmacy call-ins for refills & pickups, companionship and involvement with games, theatre, crafts, gardening and other activities. Constant in depth communication with all their families, doctors, PT, OT, nurses and appointment settings & driving to doctors appointments.
