Hi everyone!! I am Franchesca, a licensed RN in Chicago. I am currently looking for a private duty job because of my previous back surgery which limits my lifting and so I cant work as a floor or staff nurse anymore. I have 20 plus years of experience in the healthcare industry. When I was in my teens, my grandmother was diagnosed with terminal Cancer and was bound to a wheelchair. I moved in with her to care for her needs. I enjoyed being able to give her comfort. I administered her B-12 injections and her daily medicine, while cooking, cleaning and bathing her. I realized then, that I wanted to become a nurse. I did not have any backing to go to nursing school, so I attained my Registered Medical Assistant and my Registered Phlebotomist licenses. One of my personal achievements was when I took care of a patient who was a paraplegic. I taught her how to use the remote with 2 fingers. She was so ecstatic when she finally was able to do that one thing by herself. It was truly amazing!

Good day, I am Karl Bryan Galupar, I am a Filipino migrated here on January 14, 2006. My 1st job in USA is taking care of elderly, and did that job after 2 days of arriving here in the country of what my dad called it "the land of milk and honey". After doing 4-5 mos of caregiving, I joined the US Navy, to be a naturalize citizen and able to petition my dad, and my son. I served for 4 years of active duty and got a chance to travel for free :). After serving the US Armed Force, I went back to be a caregiver for 3years. Taking care of elderly people. Providing them their daily needs. Currently I am a dialysis technician working MWF.
