I have always had a desire for helping people especially the elderly. It's been a very rewarding career choice that I have always enjoyed doing. My hobbies are reading, walking, meditate, pray, visit the sick and shut in, movies, love to volunteer my time helping those in need. I've wanted to work in the medical field since around 2009. Before my great grandmother passed away, she was a caregiver. So was my mom and my great aunt was a Registered Nurse. So it kind of ran in the family.

I'm 31, I have five beautiful kids. I was raised by my grandmother..she was 65 years old when I was born. After growing up a bit I always told her if she needed me I will always be there for her. I started working around the neighborhood helping other elderly people as i got older. I love being able to help others its like a passion.I loved my grandmother so much I quit my job to care for her once. I'm very family oriented and also I'm a Christian and I love people.... I became a caregiver because taking care of others gives me a sense of fulfilment, my favorite part of being a caregiver is knowing that I'm making someone's life a bit easier. I'm proud of the fact that I'm able to ease some of my family's stress by being there for my mom and two younger sisters. I became a care giver because I love to help my elders. What I like about being a caregiver is that I get to help someone out and learn about them. I am proud because not many people take care of other people, out of love. Another reason I love being a home health aide is because my mother had got to the point where she needed someone to take care of her but she ended up in a nursing home, she is resting in peace now.. and helping out someone else is my greatest pleasure.
