My name is Robin-Marie, I am 24 years old and I have been a caregiver for 7 years personally, and 4 years professionally, as well as a Med-Tech. I have been studying the medicaI field since I was 18. I became a caregiver because I grew up taking care of my grandmother, she became immobile and weak due to her age and health problems. Even at a young age, it saddened me to see her feel so helpless. So I began to help her with her everyday needs and made a difference. I love being a caregiver because I want to make a positive impact in people's lives. Knowing that someone depends on me motivates me to do everything in my power to make sure they are happy and knowing I can be not only a helper to someone, but a companion, brings me joy.

I like helping people treat people with kindness. Helping people in need make me feel special that is a blessing from heaven. To be able to help someone in their daily living situation . Great person.

In 12th grade I was able to take the test because I was 18 and I was caregiving for my step-mom for a little and I month working into Home Care they cut me off because I was still in school but I passed the test to be able to care give at America homes health ad

I was raised in a family that was proudly involved in the medical feild. Due to that when my grandma and grandpa became very ill my family chose to take care of them in the home instead of choosing an assisted living home. That is when I fell in love with being a caregiver. Three days out of the week until I was 15 (when I didn't have school) I would go with my mother to help my wheel chair bound grandmother get up in the morning and live her daily life. After her passing I found much joy in volunteering at senior centers and then later continuing in home care for patients with dementia and family friends whose grandparents have fallen ill. I love seeing people continue their daily lives as normal as possible and being able to live in a welcoming/ comforting environment despite their physical or mental limitations. Due to the love I have found in helping elderly, or those unable to fully care for themselves, I have chosen to attend Oakland University for biomedical sciences to hopefully attend medical school one day soon. Being a caregiver is something I have been raised around and is a true calling for me which is what makes me so successful at it.

I enjoy helping the elderly and reaching out to them in every way possible, ensuring that they are well taken care of. Being a Caregiver I give back to my country by help those around me, and doing this my passion. I'm happy I can give back, I have the privilege to help someone, it makes me to better person, I'm caring loving and try my best to make others happy, I love to others smile.

I became a caregiver 6 years ago, I love helping and taking care of people, When I became a caregiver it was my best achievement, I am a loving and caring person with a great personality. I have a warm heart and a caring sense of humor.

I became a care giver because I'm passionate about helping and caring for those in need. I enjoy being a care giver for many reasons but the biggest would be the feeling that I get when I am able to make someone's day even if it's just helping them with everyday tasks or just talking to them so they don't feel alone. I am proud that I had the experience of working in a hospital setting for 3 years as a nursing assistant. The other employees and the patients were amazing and showed me just how fragile life is and how much we take for granite everyday. I am a caring/kind person who is very reliable and a fast learner. I work well under stress and time constraint but most importantly I work well with others. I treat my patients/residence like they're my own family members regardless of gender,race,religion, or circumstance. I believe everyone in a situation in which they require assistance never chose that and should be treated with respect/dignity.

I became a CNA in 2011. I love doing what I do because I want to make a difference in peoples lives.
