hello I have experience working with people who have Alzheimer and late stage severe dementia. I currently work Labor Pool for Riverside home health as a Certified Nursing assistant and have worked for Virginia Health Services in a nursing home. I will be starting school end of July ( July 23rd) I am currently looking to provide quality and loving care for someone during my time in school . I will be in class Monday -Thursday from 8am-1pm and will be available for care-giving from 1:30pm-6pm. If my bio makes you feel as though I could be a great fit and around that time you would need care-giving, I will be more than happy to arrange a meet and greet so you can get to know me and see if I could be a fit. Hello im Ciara i have been a caregiver for 3 years. What i love the most about this job is being able to help others out. I bath the patient, give them there medication, I do there hair, I help the patient with walking, if the patient has pets I bath, walk, and feed the pet. I've been a caregiver for 10 year now, I've also worked with all kinss od patients.

I became a caregiver because I love people and I feel people should have the best quality of life in there time of need. I love to help people learn new ways of taking care of themselves so they can have the best quality of life during there illness. I love the smiles I get when I arrive to start my job , I teach and clients teach me its a fabulous feeling. I made one fabulous achievement about a year ago and I will never forget it. I started to take care of a client when the client had one amputation , it was sad but we continued to do lots of stuff I had to give encouragement everyday , Then one day the client had to have the other leg removed. At this time the client was so depressed everyday was a struggle but I told the client we can still do what we did before its just going to take a little longer the clients response was," I want to go to Kohl's shopping". I said okay we can do that let me plan it out. Guess what the client went shopping at Kohl's and went to lunch, Where there is a will there is a way. I will never forget that one month later the client passed a way but the client got the shopping trip that was thought to never happen. People told me that I would not be able to do this with this client when I did they said I was one of a kind. I said no I am not I accomplished another good deed for a wonderful person. I have worked as a nursing assistant for 15 years. I have worked for nursing homes , Hospice , and acute care for Margaretville Hospital. I am CPR cert

Just a few weeks ago a former family member came back to the Hospice I am presently employed at as a patient, when he saw me he asked, “Do you remember me? My wife was a patient here two years ago,” then he said her name to remind me. He went on to say that he was very pleased with the care that I gave his wife when she was my patient and stated that now he is sick with lung cancer. He told his family he would like for the end of his life to be with caring people like me here at this hospice. Both he and his wife expired in my care while I was on duty. 4. I've been a CNA for the past 16 years. I have current CPR, first aid and TB test. I have experience assisting with ADL’s, feeding tube care (kangaroo pump and bolus), catheter care, light housekeeping, meal preparations, transfers (manual and hoya), and administering medication as prescribed by a doctor.

I became a caregiver when My mother got really sick and I had to quit school in the 11th Grade to take care of her. and I every since been a caregiver for 10 years now and love every bit of been one.
