Skilled in assisting patients with daily living activities, personal grooming, toileting, cooking, feeding, dressing, monitoring vital signs, administering medication, cleaning , laundry, running errands, doctor's appointments and more. Hello my name is Kya Broadway, I have been a caregiver for four years. In elementary school I remember my teacher asking what would I like to be when I got older and my response " a nurse!" I have watched my mom in the nursing field for years after nursing she became a phlebotomist and I always felt the need to follow her foot steps due to me having a disabled sister and grandmother having her leg amputated! So I spent my adults years interested in helping others. Taking care of my clients really makes my day and makes me happy knowing I left an impact on others! Everyone that I have helped along my journey of being a caregiver has always expressed how important I am to them and how I brighten their lives so much more. Hearing things like that just brings me so much joy!

I'm a great caregiver because I can very patiently listen, observed and documents good reporting. I enjoy helping people since I have a good loving heart. I feel so good helping these seniors. My personal achievement to be proud of is when I saved a dialysis client after encountering a traffic cop while transporting him to the dialysis clinic. My homecare company gave me the "Silent Achievement Award" for doing the best job but at the same time being silent.

I became a caregiver because I love to serve and help the needy. Hi, Im Desiree, and I am a non medical caregiver wanting to offer my companionship and professional in home assistance. I assist in task such as meal preparation, light house keeping, assisting clients to and from appointments, bathing and dressing, grocery shopping, medication reminders and much more just depending on each clients individual needs. I knew at an early age that I wanted to help and care for people. I spent much of my youth volunteering on weekends at the hospital and nursing homes with my siblings we would do activities with the patients or have beauty day with the ladies were we would give Mani/pedis, do make up or cute hair styles.
