What makes me a great caregiver is that I am loving, caring, respectable, honest and compassionate towards everyone that are under my care and even those who are not. People are my passion and for this I am so grateful. I became a caregiver because, after raising my own children I thought what a better job to have with making my heart smile and making me feel good inside, to take care of people who are unable to take care of themselves. What I like about being a caregiver is my God-Given ability to be in good health with a good heart and high spirits to have people appreciate who I am and what I stand for by trusting me to take care of their needs. A personal achievement that I am proud of is being dedicated, reliable, friendly, kind, compassionate, understanding, trustworthy, along with being a good communicator and a good listener to as many people as I can.

I became a caregiver because I enjoy helping the elderly. I feel it is a great way to give back and for the elderly to be able to live as comfortable for as long as possible. What I like about being a caregiver is feeling the satisfaction of knowing I'm making a difference in someone's life. I'm most proud of all the help I've been able to give to those who are in need of it the most. Something about myself is that I am very reliable and trust worthy. I have a deep passion for helping others and making people happy.

I became a Caregiver because there is such a need in every community. It's not just the client that needs assistance, it's the spouse or loved one that needs a break, or chance to get away once in a while to take care of their own needs. If they don't take care of themselves how can they care for their loved ones? The thing I like most is the one on one personal care and knowing I'm meeting a very specific need in someones life. A personal achievement was when I received a People Service award at my work for serving others. I was also awarded a Perfect Attendance award. I like to smile a lot. (It's contagious)

Growing up I've always had a passion for helping others, my aunt got sick due to breast cancer in 2008 I provided care for her up until her death in 2012. The level off appreciation I received from her and the fact that I was able to say I made her life a little bit easier helped me realize that this is what I live to do. I am a strong minded but soft heart individual who loves to care for others!

Im an experienced caregiver for about 5 years now. I love working with people, helping them talking to them, I dont mind the hands on effort it take sometime to get the job done. I love taking them on walks to enjoy nature and also go out to eat with them every now nd then. I learned that most elderly people still want to be in-tuned with the rest of the world. I haven't completed background due to no money to spare till find work have no record.I have been taking care of people most of my adult life, I'm the happiest when working with my patients. I worked in nursing homes in the early 80's , when CNA licenses where not needed .I also worked in group homes for adults with Special needs. I have the ability to have empathy and love for my patients. I'm a very spiritual person and love being around my eight grandchildren when not working. I do alot of camping, fishing and tubing on weekends in the summer. I love to swim and cook almost every day. I have acheived alot the past several year , I have recieved several awards from New Century Hospice for my volunteer work with Hospice and Alzheimer's patients. Completing my MA schooling while working. I'm excited about my future as a RN in the Hospice field when I'm completed with my college classes.I have several written references upon request. I have had recent backgroung checks, drug tests with the company presently with.

Hi my name is Stacy I am 18 years old and a College student. I am majoring in nursing to eventually become a nurse practitioner. I am also a certified nursing assistant and I work at a home health.What makes me a great caregiver is that i'm passionate about helping people it's what i love to do. I wanted to become a caregiver after volunteering at hospitals and being able to make an impact in someone's life.

I am currently in nursing school pursing my LVN license and will proceed to get my RN. I graduate in December 2019. I have been a caregiver since 2010. I enjoy caring for people that need the extra help.

Hello! My name is Melissa Jones and I have been a resident of Fremont for over 40 years. Being the oldest of four children, I have always been a caregiver at heart. My interest in healthcare started when my mother became ill suddenly and I cared for her in and out of the hospital environment until her passing of cancer. In 1994 I was hired by Washington Hospital as a medical language specialist. I have transcribed numerous histories detailing patients' medical conditions and later was able to transcribe at home while raising my two children. After the children were grown and gone I wanted to expand my knowledge of the healthcare field directly into patient care so, being a lifelong learner, I went back to school to obtain my CNA (certified nursing assistant) license in 2016. I love caring for others in their homes. It is the best place for them to be and I want to take an active role in making that happen! Caregivers are "care giving" but I receive so much joy and satisfaction from knowing I am helping another person live comfortably.
