I have loved to care for people since I was a little girl, so it was only natural that I would enter into a field where I could others. A caregiver is the most rewarding responsibility. From my own personal experience, I have had the opportunity to see first hand that the work I do is highly appreciated. It brings me so much joy to put a smile on someone's face. I have experience with clients who have had behavior issues and I was so proud that I was one of the few people who were able to make them happy. I love to read, write, and listen to music. I also like to do out doors activities such as gardening and taking walks. I can always find ways to interact with the person I care for.

I became a caregiver because I love servicing the elderly and interacting with them. The thing I like about being a caregiver is being able to be service them with quality, loving care and assisting them to remain independent and agile in their latter years. The personal achievement is the numerous clients I have assisted over the years since becoming a caregiver. My name is Camille Martin and I have eight years experience and various backgrounds of care, ranging from home health to private duty to nursing home to assisted living facilities. I have worked with Alzheimer's and Dementia patients.

I love being a caregiver because it gives me joy to be able to assist those in need. My greatest accomplishment as a caregiver would have to be to provide the best quality of life to my clients. I enjoy making them happy and seeing their faces light up with inspiration when im able to make a difference in their life and make them feel like they are beautiful people. The best thing about the caregiving opportunity would have to be when I see my clients expressing themselves as the magnificent individuals they always will be.

I am an experienced caregiver. I worked in an Assisted Living Facility for three years. I recently got my CNA certification from the Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS) last January, 2016. I am compassionate and love caring the elderly. I took care of my aging mother before she passed away back home in the Philippines.

I became a caregiver because I love helping people who can't quite help themselves. I also became a caregiver due to the fact that everyone is going to grow older and at some point we all will need some help. I became a caregiver after doing in-home help for my grandparents. I realized that helping others is what I want to do as a career. I enjoy being a caregiver because I love to help others. As we age, we’re not able to do the things that we once could. I love to help give others some of their independence back. I'm proud that I'm a full time medical student with a high GPA. It is important to be on time and be responsible while working and going to school. I have a very positive attitude and I'm very patient. I became a caregiver because I LOVE changing the lives of the individuals I work with daily. I love hearing how things were in the past and how they differ from today's society (i love the 50's era). I do love to cook as well as I have my culinary degree

My grandmother played a vital role in my life. She helped raised me and when she started to age, I had the privilege of caring for her. I was one of her main caregivers when she was on hospice, until the day she passed away peacefully at home. Caring for my grand mother is one of the reasons why I take my job and duties seriously. I know that it brings the families peace when they have a competent, loving, patient, and compassionate care giver working with their parents/grandparents/spouse/sibling/etc. I love being able to build relationships with my patients and their families as well as hearing all of their life stories.

I am a very considerate person that feels happy helping people.I was the primary caregiver for my grandma, and it became my stepping stone to my life as a care giver. It gives me so much joy to help people especially the elderly.I am a soft speaker, which is something many people love about me.

I like helping Seniors I love the fact that when helping the Seniors that they like me being there to help them out when they cant take care of their needs themselves I am proud to take care of people and they thank me for helping them. I became a caregiver cause I love to help assist people who are not able to tend for themselves. Growing up, we cared for our loved ones at home. I have 6 years experience in nursing specialized in Hospice Care. Im also a Nurse Educator, educating future CNA's and maintain my own Private Care Home Services in assisting to match caregivers for families who need care. What makes me a great caregiver, would be my work ethic. I'm professional, caring, tender, and I love being that void in my residents life putting them first and taking excellent care of them. I became a caregiver because of my dad. As a child, growing up I watched my dad constantly help others and I never understood his satisfaction, until one day he told me to understand the satisfying fact of helping others you have to one day experience it yourself, which made me lean towards nursing. ever since I've been in this field I've not only grown to understand the satisfaction of helping others but I have also touched residents heart in helping feel that void, rather its just being an ear, or taking care of them as if they were my own family member. What I like most about being a STNA/PCA, I would have to say are helping the elderly, as well as my patients themselves. Although I can't put myself in their shoes and give false hope, nursing is my compassion it's not necessarily all about the pay but being able to touch someone else's heart means the most to me. I use to sit and watch the residents who family threw them in the nursing home, watch other residents interact with their families and it bottled me because its like negligence to me, I can understand that some situations whether it's dementia, or Alzheimer's can become hard to deal with , but I like being that void because I know that resident could be wishing and thinking they had someone come visit them everyday and I mad

I am a friendly and caring people person and I very much enjoy spending time caring for others. I am certified in child and adult CPR & Universal Precautions through the Red Cross. I have seven months prior experience as a in home care provider with a company called Homewatch Caregivers of Englewood. I am familiar and comfortable with many task and responsibilities involved with providing in home care. Some tasks that I familiar with are but are not limited to; assisting with bathing, toileting, dressing, eating, cooking, exercise, and reminding of medication. It is important that I have good communication with the family of the patient to make sure all of the clients need are being thoroughly met.
