What got me started as a Certified Nurse Assistant when I was little I got to take care of my grandmother on her last days. I got to spend time and talk to her about Jesus. I have found that my passion/calling is to care for the elderly and/or individuals, who can't do so for themselves. My heart is overwhelmed with genuine happiness when providing care and/or maintaining a personal relationship with each resident, client, and/or patient. I sincerely love fulfilling my heart's desires & passion by providing care, love, companionship, friendship, and even medical care to individuals; resulting in them having a sense of peace, as they go through life changes and having to deal with situations that may be unfamiliar. I find that doing so & providing the utmost respectful care to each of them, brings forth a growth for even myself, as I continue my education into becoming an RN (later to bridge into Nurse Practitioner). Daily, I am seeking the latest knowledge and skill so hopefully I can improve my care traits daily, to a wider/higher demand of clients. I am most definitely proud of a personal achievement in my life pertaining to my husband (who was diagnosed with late stages of Testicular cancer twice)! After receiving a prognosis of 18 months, I decided to further my education & resources, in hopes to find more options....and I did! After nearly 2 years, he is now in remission & cancer-free! This is not to boast about what I did, but instead the 'determination, drive, & passion', that I was blessed with. I will ALWAYS go above & beyond in providing the best care for clients & their family members! I believe there is always room for growth and in order to do so, you must first humble yourself to what you were called to do, whatever that may be!

Hello. I am Christian Myers and I been in the healthcare field for 10 + years. I am a full-time behavioral therapist in mental health. I am very reliable and have reliable transportation to be on time. I have experience in medication management, symptom management, skilled in ADLs and BLS, and most importantly, I am a passionate advocate for the best interest of the client.

What makes me a great caregiver? It is passion for helping people. I first knew that I wanted to care for people when my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer when I was 18 years old. I took care of my two younger brothers. Since then, I have been caring for people. My heart goes out to those who can't take care of themselves, that is why I do everything in my power to make the ones I care for feel like they exist and to have purpose in life. It makes me feel so good to know that I can make somebody feel so good about him or her self.

I very much enjoy the work I do. It makes me feel like I am making a difference in the lives of the individuals I care for. I actually talk and listen to what they have to say. I believe I am blessed to sit there and listen to the back in the old days stories. At the end of the day it gives me a sense of accomplishment.
