I love spending time with my Residents. I have a heart of gold and a passion for my client's. What got me started as a Certified Nurse Assistant when I was little I got to take care of my grandmother on her last days. I got to spend time and talk to her about Jesus. Im a Christian I put God in everything I do.

I am 31 yes of age A mother of four very loving boys ages 5, 7, 10, and 12, I am a very motivated person love to care for others I'm a peoples person that is looking forward to advance to a new level of care giving. I have had the pleasure of being around a lot of different personalities seen and learned a lot enjoys being able to make someone family feel safe, I am proud to say I have been in care giving for the last 5 years and I look forward to my journey ahead with more family's.

I have found that my passion/calling is to care for the elderly and/or individuals, who can't do so for themselves. My heart is overwhelmed with genuine happiness when providing care and/or maintaining a personal relationship with each resident, client, and/or patient. I sincerely love fulfilling my heart's desires & passion by providing care, love, companionship, friendship, and even medical care to individuals; resulting in them having a sense of peace, as they go through life changes and having to deal with situations that may be unfamiliar. I find that doing so & providing the utmost respectful care to each of them, brings forth a growth for even myself, as I continue my education into becoming an RN (later to bridge into Nurse Practitioner). Daily, I am seeking the latest knowledge and skill so hopefully I can improve my care traits daily, to a wider/higher demand of clients. I am most definitely proud of a personal achievement in my life pertaining to my husband (who was diagnosed with late stages of Testicular cancer twice)! After receiving a prognosis of 18 months, I decided to further my education & resources, in hopes to find more options....and I did! After nearly 2 years, he is now in remission & cancer-free! This is not to boast about what I did, but instead the 'determination, drive, & passion', that I was blessed with. I will ALWAYS go above & beyond in providing the best care for clients & their family members! I believe there is always room for growth and in order to do so, you must first humble yourself to what you were called to do, whatever that may be!

I have 10 years experience as a caregiver, this is my compassion. I have worked at Grandview, Brookwood and UAB West hospitals. I work with demetia, ALS, fall risk, cancer, bed bound and other illnesses. I prepare meals, baths, and medications. I also do laundry, light housekeeping, run errands and a good companion. Hi I'm Terri and I'm an experience caregiver for over 15 years. My duties are making Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, give medications, and sponge baths. I also do laundry, light housekeeping, run errands and communicate with patients daily. I'm dependable, loyal and caring. My first job was taking care of my grandmother in her home. I enjoyed watching tv shows and laughing with her. I took care of her about 2 years before she passed away. This 1 job in Irondale for 4 years with Mrs. Hill it was like I was part of the family I was invited to everything with the family. I loved Mrs. Hill and she loved me and she enjoyed her life until her very last day. My accomplishment is making my patients feel special, and cared for everyday. I love taking care of the elderly helping them accomplish daily task they couldn't do without me.
