I have been a CNA since 1995 and worked in nursing homes for 6 years. I worked for Banner Hospital for 13 years in the med-surg /oncology unit. I have been working for kindly care for 2 years and previously worked for synergy for 1 year. I enjoy working one on one with clients in their home. I would like to keep working as Caregiver because I genuinely enjoy caring for people. I can help others to recover and stay in their homes as long as possible.

Hello! I hope you're doing well? Here's a bit about me: I have a total of 3 1/2 years of professional experience working with seniors. I worked in an adult family home for 2 years. I cared for seniors between the ages of 68 and 84 in large groups of 3-6 seniors. I also have experience with cancer recovery, when I worked as a private homecare assistant for a year. I have great references, live in West Seattle and currently doing the last year of my early childhood development degree part time and online. I take pride in what I do and would love to work with a family. I'm a very nurturing and bubbly person, very responsible and I enjoy reading, writing, dancing, singing, watching movies and driving. Hello my name is sonja im a certified caregiver been certified since 2011 I specialize in dementia and alzheimer i have special training for that as well. I also have lots of experience working with elderly that dont have dementia or any other memory impairments. This is definitely my calling i love being around elderly people and being able to help them in any way i can i treat them as if they were my own grandparents because i would want the same for mine

I became a caregiver because I took care of my old mother that needed help and couldn't care for herself people came in my house and did not give my mother the cares that she needed and I felt so sorry for her so I had to leave one of my job to help her. 2. Being a caregiver I like helping older people meet their needs helping them reach their goals and seeing smiles on their faces.My personal achievement that I am proud of when I go to work and I make my resident smile and they know that they have someone every day to look up to that make them to feel they are love and care for. Giving a loving gentle approach I have over 20 yrs caring , most recently for clients with needs from stroke/heart & broken bones. A lot of my experience comes from dementia pts. And as I have prior Physical Therphy experience, stroke clients, amputees, Cancer Patients, Routine elderly care, Dementia & well as End Of Life. My references are outstanding and available upon request. I m prompt, do not require time off outside our agreed hrs and available ASAP either part time and/or hrs as needed daily. I am certified in CPR , FIRST AID along with 16 other courses. I am full of life, always have a smile and this is a passion of mine.. .
