I believe what makes me a great caregiver is that I take care of all my patients as if they were my own family and make sure they are comfortable and most importantly I listen to their needs. I first became interested in health care when my mother was ill and needed care herself and realized that I had a real passion for helping others. I enjoy knowing that the family can be at ease knowing I'm there taking care of their loved ones. At Long Beach Memorial I was know as the "sitter whisper" because whenever they had a difficult patient they would alway assign me that patient and by the end of the day the patient would no longer require restraints or was completely compliant and friendly. They always ask what was my secret and I would say I simply listen to what their needs are.

I'm flexible. I'm covid-19 clear. What makes me feel great about being a caregiver is that the client is loyal,and always happy. Well my name is sarah I'm 41yrs old I'm a single mother of a 7yr old boy name cash and I have custody of my 2yr old nephew thunder ? I have been doing caregiving for over 20yrs it started when my mom had her stroke she was paralyzed from one side so I had to give her physical therapy giver her medications tend to my siblings but I've always been a nurturing person ! My baby brother had got really sick at the point of dying cuz they couldn't figure out what was wrong he finally got a little better they sent him home and I took care of him cuz they put him a pick line, I've also helped my friend with her parents until the y passed I helped take care my moms friend father he had dementia so I had to give him his medication also bathe him my last client I had just passed away back in the middle of march I was so happy that I could bring him joy for his last days here on earth his family said I spoiled him it's that he reminded and me so much of my grandfather so I'm just glad I can help people!!!

I am from a line of strong women in our family that were nurses and a that took care of our elderly. I love taking care of people especially the elderly just knowing that you can help them if they can't help themselves physically makes me feel good. When i know that i was able to make them feel safe and comfortable is a great achievement in my life. I was raised to always protect and be there for my elderly.

I've been a caregiver for 35 yrs. I started in this field when I was just 17. I love what I do. I come from a medical family and decided at a very young age that I wanted to be a doctor or nurse. I specialize in geriatric dementia and Alzheimers care. Every client needs to know they're truly cared for on every level with love, patience, and kindness. I enjoy learning from them ... they often have amazing histories, stories and lessons to share.I'm often with my clients for the duration of their lives.

I had full vaccinated for COVID-19. I am super patient and caring . I think I have the gift of taking care of others.
