I am a hardworking individual. I love helping others and making a difference In people lives for the better.

I enjoy helping people especially those who just want to feel normal and be able to assist with them functioning on their own. I started with caregiving about 5-6 years ago with my grandmother who had a stroke. I've worked with both the elderly and mentally disabled.

Making sure that my patients are okay because I love taking care of them. I enjoy doing it.

My name is sharita everyone calls me Rita. I have been in this field about 11 yrs now. I love helping and taking care of others it is a passion of mine. I come from a big family my mother had 10 kids. I was always the helper of my mother. I took care of my siblings and it stuck with me. Just the comfort i give my clients and families keeps me going. My personality positive attitude, very welcoming and understanding. I have a disabled brother and I care for him so I put a little extra care in as if they are my family. I enjoy getting to know the family and the person and become apart of their circle . I have achieved so much thus far I'm a CPT,Medical assistant, HHA, and still pursuing a nursing degree.

Because I'm into the person not only into my work, I really love being creative meaning always finding was to use arts ,crafts, puzzles plus I'm alert concerning the needs of the person I'm a great listener I always remember this saying treat people the way you would like to be treated and it will come back to you. I enjoy having conversation with different people because I'm very teachable plus I've been told I'm the best caregiver the company had this isn't just a job for me its relationships being build with the individuals that I meet I haven't met a client that was dissatisfied with my work yet and I've been doing this for while and I love it. Yes you have challenging clients but the first this I would say is that I'm sorry that your feeling this way today what can we do to make this a better day and if this doesn't work I'll get a book of there choice or a puzzle I will try all I know to get though until something work I'm a person that study peoples action, body language and moods so I will know when something isn't right things I've achieved is knowing that I give my all in taking care of a life that is entrusted in my hands and I don't take that for granted you never know someone might have to take care of me. In closing I will always be the best at what I do and that's giving the best care to the client that they need.

I have a giving personality. I love helping others and treating them with respect. I love making sure my client is comfortable . My grandmother attracted me to wanting to be a caregiver and also working at a nursing also. I loved going to work everyday and making the residents happy and making them smile.
