Im a great caregiver because I have 2 beautiful daughters and always trusted that they were in great care when they were small and I worked. I also cared for my mom when her health failed. So from caring for them and making sure they had great caregivers makes me know that whomever needed a caregiver would want someone that has a caring heart for people and would treat them as you want to be treated also their love ones. In 1986 I furthered my education in the healthcare field and from then until for I've been working as a Certified Nurse Asst., Home health aid Private Duty Caregiver. I currently operates an Adult Family Care Home were I have live-in Mental impaired residents of whom I've cared for for many years, I also work with Developmental Clients, Alzheimer's Residents too. I love caring for the elderly, Mental, and disabled persons that need help with ADL and that are unable to provide services for themselves. I don't single anyone out or label them I treat them as family and as they are just as you and I HUMAN I see myself not being able to care for myself and often feels that I could be in the same position and would want someone who cares about me and my needs and have the heart to help in areas that I m in need of. So from 1980 until now my heart still goes out to those in need of CARE.
Hello, I'm a certified nursing assistant with over 15 years of experience to offer. I have experience with Amputees, paraplegics, diabetic pts, cancer pts, morbidly obese pts, dementia/Alzheimer's pts, transfer assistance, Hoyer & stand up lifts, semi-electric & Manuel hospital beds. I'm a Tallahassee native, mother, and wife. My hobbies include online shopping, strolling around lake ella, and cooking basic meals. I recently have taken up sewing and gardening I'm a beginner so I'm still learning . I'd like to think I'm reliable I've been told I'm worth my weight in gold. I think I would be a good match for someone that is easy going, have a routine schedule, or a written out planned day by day script. I enjoy quiet time, and repetitive activities in this day and age I don't think it is wise to be sporadic or spontaneous . I believe in mutual respect no need for unwanted ignorance or hostility, communication is the key. You need a service and I can provide that service you need. Thanks in advance for your consideration.
In my 30 plus years of work experience I have developed excellent customer service skills, critical thinking skills and problem solving skills. I am very punctual, organized and detail-oriented. I have 11 years of Vent Unit experience and 1 1/2 years of Rehab Unit experience. Growing up I was always one to take care of others. I like to see and help my patients and make sure they are comfortable. I like to hold conversations with them and listen to there life experiences. I am personally proud of being able to be there for my patients, encourage them along whatever there specific journey is and be a hand to hold and a shoulder to cry on.
To be a good caregiver you have to be passionate, loyal and caring. You can't go into the healthcare field and think that all person needs are the same because it's not. You have to be flexible to the needs of others. Why I became a CNA I just love caring for others, to know at the end of the day that I was able to help someone that may have read the newspaper for 30 plus year's, but there health may not allow them to see very well or just someone to go get there newspaper. In life its the little things that count. And i just love being apart of the things we sometimes take for granted. .
Hello my name is Princess Hall. I have been a caregiver for ten years now. I have always had passion for people with disabilities as a young child. In high school I used my down time to help feed, read, and conversate with them. My goal was to make them feel like they could do and be any and everything their hearts desired. That was the beginning of my passion for helping others. When I began working as a caregiver everyone pointed out how great I was and insisted that I further my education. In doing so I have worked with many people ranging from the elderly to people with disabilities. I now possess a CNA licence. I know being a caregiver is my calling in life and I take pride in it.
What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is that I enjoy helping people. I enjoy sitting and listening to people who enjoy sharing their stories with me when they were younger, or just talking about life in general. As a child I always knew that helping people was what God created me to do and I believe that everyday as I go about my day I see that this my true calling, and I believe that this is what I am suppose to do. I interact with patients all the time when they come into their appointments and there is never a dull moment. They share, and I listen because some have no one to talk to and I believe that me being that person that can talk to not only help them but also helps me to become a great listener and they thank me for that. I am very dependable and very realiable and I am vey compassionate about my work and my job. I am a very positive person and I truly believe that is what make my job easier to do because I love helping people and bring a smile to their faces.
I became a care provider because I wanted to make a difference in the lives of seniors. The thing I like most about being a care provider is providing seniors with the ability to age in place. A personal accomplishment that I am most proud of is opening my company. I am a very out going individual who like to help others in times of need. I have a passion for seniors and like them to be treated with respect and dignity.

I became a caregiver because I enjoy helping people and making them feel like they still have independence. I enjoy talking with or mostly listening to my clients. I started as a caregiver in 1998 with people with disabilities. From there I went to private duty and a Nursing and Rehabilitation center where I've been employed for 10 years.
My dedication and love for people is what makes me a great caregiver. I became a caregiver because growing up my church would often volunteer at the nursing homes around town. Being around the residents caused me to fall in love and gave me the willingness to do any and everything in my power to make sure they are healthy and happy at all times. What i love about being a caregiver is being able to put a smile on their faces. A personal achievement I am proud of is graduating on time in 2014 at the top of my class along with being a cheerleader, ballet dancer, Vice President of the class and a single teen parent, all the while getting excepted to the university I've always dreamed of attending.
