Given a hand in any situation is a plus for me it makes me feel good as a daughter, mother, family members and wife I started out as a single Mothers over 20 years and I was encouraged to attend the nursing assistant course due to my personality and I never looked back, I also worked in Transportation for Pace paratransit and I encouraged and helped most of my clients to sign up for the services. I decided with the Experience I have in Health and Transportation I wanted to get my own Clients in the DuPage County area

I have always loved working with people no matter what age.I especially love taking care of the elderly and have a lot of respect for our loved ones and treat them like they are my own family kindness and compassion is what a caregiver should give.

Hello! My names is Kelsey! I am a mother of two amazing little boys! 3 and 1 I have been in the caregiving industry for a little over 6 years now, I have experienced everything you can think of.. I love what I do, and I enjoy coming in to each of my clients lives, and getting to know them on a personal level! I graduated from Rasmussen college with my diploma in medical assisting in April of 2021, covid had hit and I decided I didn't want to be in the doctors office, rather one on one with a client in caregiving. I have been a C.N.A for over 20 yrs.Have work in a hospital nursing home and hospice care. I have also worked with elementary school. What I love about my job is the patients and family's and the care I am able to provide. I am a very cheerful and happy person I am told my laugh is contagious.

This is what I have a passion for I've been doing this job for the past 20 years, I am a certified nursing assistant. I love taking care of elderly people children and I the experience how to care for hospice patienta, and Alzheimer, Dementia patient Bathing and shower, prepare a meals and Medications Reminder, Transportations, Companionship, feeding and Shopping grocery, Housekeeping house organization,I'm a very responsible person ,friendly, lovely caring person and Trust worthy, and I'm on time ability to do all my job.

I am a friendly and caring person. I always look at caring for our elderly as an honor and privilege. I get to see through the eyes of our elderly past events, share in their excitement of what they accomplish in the present moment.

When my mother was ill, I was the one she would call to make her scrambled eggs. I took her to the swimming pool and hot tub to get exercise and relaxation. I cut her hair, took her to doctor's appointments and then lunch, and generally gave her some companionship. As I dusted her knickknacks, she told me where each was from. Mom died in 2002. When dad was ailing, some of my family tried to move him into assisted living, but he wanted to stay in his own home. I gave up my apartment and moved in with him, while working in publishing during the day. We had a great time together for a year and a half. Just after he died, I lost my job because I had spent too much time with dad. That evening, the daughter of a neighbor I'd assisted over the years called me, asking if I could help her mother. That began years of caregiving in which I have helped people stay in their homes, and enjoy life. I've brought my keyboard and played hymns and popular songs, singing with them and laughing. As a caregiver, I am simply happy to help my people stay in their own familiar setting. I believe the way I interact with them makes them happy. And my cooking makes them extremely happy! I built my cooking experience on my mom's, then learned to cook for fewer than 8 people! I edited three "Taste of the Country" cookbooks, working with a professional dietician who taught me many ways to fit dietary needs while providing tasty food.
