I am a very friendly, respectful and loving caregiver with 12 years of experience. I became a caregiver because I love being able to take care of the elderly. This is not a job for everyone but I felt like I was born to do this job.

I've been a caregiver for over 20 plus years. I've performed private duty as well as live in homecare serviced. Overnight Memory Care Wound care Alzheimer's Dementia Cerebral palsy including Hospice care, Medication reminder s, feeding G-tube with medications and liquid food Maintenance is just to name a few. Such duties also performed included completing laundry errands cooking house cleaning transfer from the bed to the wheelchair shower bed bath grooming. Companionship combined with hospice, and cancer respite care.

One of the reasons that makes me who I am as a caregiver is the compassion that I have in my heart for my clients and their families. I am a person of integrity, honesty, dependability and concern. It's about giving of myself to my clients and having a sense of the quality of life concerning the lifestyle they have. When I come into their presence a smile comes on their face. I will show the passion, give the encouragement, and hope they will have the confidence that I will know exactly what to do concerning their plan of care. I became a caregiver because of my mother's influence. Listening to her talk about her clients was interesting and heart warming and sometimes I felt sad and wanted to help, so I did! The rewards of being a caregiver is caring for those who cannot care for themselves or just needing a little help. Always understanding what care consists of at all times regardless of the situations and circumstances whether it's to assist or just HELP. I love what I do as a caregiver because I have a compassionate heart.

Being patient,loving, caring, compassionate, and highly experienced make me a good caregiver. This is what I have been doing before I came to this country. Out of 6 siblings, I was the only one taking care of my Mom with the assistance of my daughter who is now a medical doctor and now in the university pursuing her masters degree in public health here in the U.S. I feel so much comfortable taking of people either young or old. It is my joy to contribute positively to general care of elderly people. I personally relate very well with my client and their families, that most of them treat me like members of their families. I still have contact with most of the families I have worked for. They sometimes take me out for my birthdays celebrations , some calls on my birthdays, some sends messages on my birthdays. I think this a great achievement, because if I did not do good jobs for them, they will not remember me to give me such wonderful honors.

I became a caregiver because of my parents in need of care...During a 36+year period I have worked as a caregiver/home-care aide also assisted caring for my parents until they departed. I was taught to honor thy mother/ father and respect others at a young age... I have completed and passed a C.N.A. course 19+years ago and have worked in nursing homes,skilled facilities and rehab centers as a rehab assistant for quite sometime now...What I do in making a difference in helping others has always been a joyous experience. I hope I can be an assistant to you. If not I hope you find the help and support that's needed for you and or your family.

I love to be able to help others from young to older, did it half of my life. I live in hammond,indiana with my husband and dog. I Enjoy adventures and family time. Being hands on with a person everyday or week you become close and understand them. I have the patience, awareness of my surroundings, fast actions and enjoy helping others. If I don't know what to do I'll look it up or ask lots of questions. I been taking care of my dad for the last 8 years, every Tuesday I take him to his doctor appointments and I also do housekeeping every Friday mornings for the last 2 years. Caregiving is my passion, doing my passion for 7 years.
