Loving people makes me a great caregiver because love is an action word. I became a caregiver because I love caring for those not thought of. My greatest accomplishment was learning to love in spite of and getting vaccinated.

I am a very attentive person, full of compassion. I find it mutually rewarding to care to elderly and disabled individuals. It provides a colorful experience as I get to know each individual person. Since I was a young girl, whether it be for my loved ones or the underprivileged, I have always had an innate concern for those in need. My inherent compassion for the livelihood challenges of others has developmentally led me to pursue an educational life-long career as a guidance counselor and health-care provider. What I have learned in my experience, when caring for any individual, is that each person's needs are distinct and should not be identified as like any other individual. When an individual is challenged in any capacity, demonstrating you care in getting to know them as a person, their strengths and limitations with personable kindness, compassion, and patience, can make all the difference to the individual and the family members who depend on you as an extension of themselves. Sometimes a simple smile can make a person feel more relaxed and willing to work with you as a caregiver to aid them with their inability of managing their own lives on their own. As a professional counselor and caregiver, what gratifies me the most about helping an individual is being a part of improving their quality of life for their overall well-being; mind, body, and spirit

I have 30 years of experience as a caregiver. I've had patience's with Alzheimer's ,dementia, and cancer. I've always enjoyed taking care of people . Given the opportunity to give the patient the proper care and help they needed at their time in need. And when I'm no longer needed, the smile on their face, that I did a great job for them. Most of my patients have passed away.

Care for my grandparents before they passed away made me realize how much I love caring for the elderly. To be able to care for people like they are an extension of your family is how everyone should care for their clients. I am a proud Army vet and have a great attention to detail. I work hard and care for my clients as if they are my grandparents.

My background primarily is in mental health, to include Dementia and Alzheimer's. I am experienced in all activities of daily living and can operate lifts, slings, and wheelchairs.
