Since I was a young girl, whether it be for my loved ones or the underprivileged, I have always had an innate concern for those in need. What I have learned in my experience, when caring for any individual, is that each person's needs are distinct and should not be identified as like any other individual. When an individual is challenged in any capacity, demonstrating you care in getting to know them as a person, their strengths and limitations with personable kindness, compassion, and patience, can make all the difference to the individual and the family members who depend on you as an extension of themselves. Sometimes a simple smile can make a person feel more relaxed and willing to work with you as a caregiver to aid them with their inability of managing their own lives on their own. I feel that I am a great caregiver, because I love people and I have a compassion to make their lives full of quality and really love on and take care of them I am proud of this trait I love being a caregiver, because I love making people smile and making a change in their lives. I focus on every detail . there is no detail too small or too large that can't somehow be resolved if it is important to the person I would be giving care to than it is important to me. Hello my name is Jacqueline but I go by Jackie. I am 31 years old and I have been in the home health care field for about 11 years. I am a very empathetic person and make a good companion because not only have I been in this field for so long but I have also taken care of my own family members who were also special needs and have had different kinds of diagnoses. I love being a care giver so much that when I finished school for dental assisting I found a job that still encompasses that type of field because we go into nursing and assisted living facilities to provide the dental care they need. Because of my job I am fully Covid vaccinated and I am tested weekly sometimes twice a week. I am proud that I have been able to show people in need of caregivers that there are people who actually see caregiving as more than just a job. Most of my clients have passed away (adults and children) but I do have their family members info as well as the agencies I have worked for if you need any references. My rate is very negotiable because I have been on that side of looking for caregivers for my own family members and I am still working as a dental assistant so NIGHT or OVERNIGHT hours preferred .
