What makes me a great caregiver is that I am able to relate to the needs of my clients base on individuality. I am very compassionate towards my clients. I try my very best to understand their needs and find a solution to it. I became a caregiver not only to help people who are at a disadvantage but rather because I care about people and enjoy being a part of their lives. For many years I've lived away from my father, but the moment I received a phone call that he had a stroke I dropped everything and went to care for him until he recovered. That alone shows how caring and concern I am about people who are unable to care for themselves. What I like about being a caregiver is the fact that I am able to bring a smile on the faces of my clients no matter what moods they are in for that particular day. I go to an extended mile to make sure that their needs are met and that they are taken good care of and happy. One personal achievement I am proud of is being able to graduate college. Both my parents are illiterate and for me to be the first out of four siblings to go to college and graduate was a very good accomplishment for me. And with what I have learned and experience I will continue to strive in what I love the most; that is helping people.

I consider myself blessed to have a connection with the elderly. When I was a 14 yrs old had the most amazing bond with the 93 year old mother of our church and I will never forget her. I personally feel responsible for the helpless ; I didn't know I needed a reason why. However, I have realized it's not for everyone. I take pride in the connection and the ability to bond with a person in need of understanding and compassion. I now consider it a gift and I am humbly grateful.

Hello, my name is Natasha Gallaway and i have 13 years of experience in total care for clients. I have experience in bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, repositioning, transfers, ADL's, toileting, check and change. I love being able to be of help to others and knowing that i made a difference in someone's life at the end of the day.

As child, I grew up in a house hold with my elders. We took care of them and even though it was required of me, I always enjoyed it as my way of saying thank you. I make a great care giver because I understand what it is to need someone to be there for and sometimes just with you. In the days we live in, there is little to no love in the world for younger people, that leaves not such a great outlook for our elders so, as I am able and capable I love to put my hand to the ploy and help where there is a need. I enjoy being able to be there with my client to give them peace of mind, knowing they are in good hands.

I love being a caregiver and taking care of our elders, the people who have given so much to this world. Taking care of people is something you can be proud of. I just love being able to take care for others. It puts a smile on my face to be able to make someone else happy. It's important that I can make a difference in someone's life. I also enjoy building cherished memories. Growing up I took care of my great, great grandmother who had dementia and I was there for her until God called her home.

I enjoy working with people and most enjoy jobs where I have one-on-one interaction with others. I enjoyed taking care of elder family members and I like to help others in this way. I like older adults and feel I can get along well with a variety of elders.

I am a great caregiver, because I always do my best with alot of passion. My goal is to comport, encourage and make my client feel much better than I found them. Also i remind my clients to count their blessings more than what their facing on a daily basis. I always wanted to be caregiver because i knew i am capable and talented in bringjng a difference in people's daily life. I enjoy alot of things while I am delivering direct care to my clients . But one thing that stands out, when my client is doing much better that I found them because my care it brings alot of joy and encouragement that my goal as a caregiver is meet. I have experience in long term facilities as well as private home care settings. I assist with daily ADL's. Bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding and transfers.
