Iam a CNA since 2003 and l have been practicing up to date. I have in different health care settings including, hospitals, nursing homes , group homes, shelters, institutions, jails and home health care. During that time while working in those different settings, l have gained tremendous experiences working with different kinds of people of different nationality, cultural beliefs, ages, people of different backgrounds and ,language barriers. I have worked with teenagers, Young adults, elderly and hospice care. Thus, lam confident that if given this particular assignment l will perform with much satisfaction. Iam a team player who manages to work with less supervisor or none. In most cases ,l do offer help before being requested to assist. Iam caring person who works not because l earn but the reasons l do care .

I spend quite a bit of time vegetable and fruit gardening and enjoy a variety of crafts. I am also a volunteer at the local senior center. I am married, with 5 grown children and 6 grandchildren, and am fortunate enough to still have both my parents! My specialties are Cancer Care, Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation, Post-Acute, Memory Care, and Hospice Care. I have an innate ability to anticipate the needs of my client, both emotionally and physically. I am open and approachable, and am able to comfortably converse with my client based on their interests and experiences. I'm known for giving great baths and showers and I'm nurse delegation certified, so I can assist with catheters, insulin, wound care and more. I have a clean, dependable car and insurance. I am willing to transport to appointments, outings and events or just stay home together. I'm a mother of two and a daughter. My mom lives with me. I'm a military spouse. I'm very compassionate, understanding and have big heart for elderly. I grew up with my grandparents since my father passed before I knew him. And my grandparents passed before I can give them the care they need. For that reason alone give me motivation to give the love for my grandparents that they never had from me to passed it on to other elderly people. I always treat them as my own grandparents. I have my CPR and BLS. I have food handling permit. I have my NAR and working to my CNA next month. Taking some of my pre-requisite to my Nursing degree.

I having been a police for over 25 years, my career changed suddenly in 2018 after I lost my sister to cancer. I was away when she passed on and when I came back I was told that my sister's health detorriated so much and she had no caregiver to assist her even to get to hospital at times perhaps she would have atleast lived longer if there was someone to assist her. I was disappointed to know this and from that day on I decided to go out and care for those who need help so here I am and I always want to give the best I can.
