I am very compassionate about this kind of work. I have 2 1/2 years of experience with working in a nursing home, assisted living home, and as a home care provider. My mother has been a caregiver for 20 years and so I guess it's in our genes to want to help people! I have a huge heart and I care about helping folks who need a little extra help or even just companionship. I enjoy building relationships with each of my clients. I think the most important part of this job is to listen and to be their support system and provide the best companionship as possible. When I first meet someone and they have alot of trouble with something, I help work on it and once I see the progress and smile on there face it makes me so happy to see them happy. That's all I strive to do is make it easier and happier for them . A professional Achievement I have had is that I have been a caregiver for 5 years and havent once had a horrible experience. I have gotten so much knowledge and have been through tons of experience I feel like nothing is too difficult for me to achieve. Seeing people and there families happy truthfully is an achievement itself.
