I started doing caregiving in 2006 working for IHSS. I stayed with them until 2011. I loved the one on one with the client's. I have worked in facilities but didn't like that people weren't always getting the best care from all of the caregivers. I been doing private homes for a lot of years since. I love what I do and I am very grateful to do it. I have a lot of patience and compassion for my clients and there families. I try to give them the best care that they deserve. I do currently work for Cross Country Workforce doing Caregiving. I enjoy my job and I love working with folks. I love being able to help someone that's in need of care. It makes my heart smile.

I have been a caregiver 18 years and completely love my job. I have worked in a few facilities as a(cna) but I love to provide care in home working one on one with my client. I take pride in going that extra mile to make my client and there family happy. I have a very flexible schedule which opens me to varies shifts . I have been a caregiver for over 40 years. I started very young. I Have worked in the medical field for many years. I was a medical assistant, Experience includes Radiology, Phlebotomy. I have worked in hospitals as well as privately as a caregiver. I speak 2 other languages , Spanish and Italian. I have knowledge of medications, first aid and CPR. I am experience in caring for people with Cancer,, Alzheimer, Parkinson, kidney dialysis, liver transplant Heart attacks, stoke, neuropathy diabetes, hypertension, and patients in hospice.

I went into caregiving because I find a great deal of satisfaction taking care of others. I particularly enjoy the elderly. I have worked in private homes and in rehab facilities (alcohol and drug abuse) during the past 6 years. I also attended nursing school, but did not complete my course work. I have a CNA certificate. People say I have a pleasant personality and I am able to communicate well with anyone.

I have been a caregiver for over 15years. I am also a Medical Assistante. I have dealt with clients with Alzheimer's, Dementia and other illnesses. I am mature, kind, caring, very patient, responsible, and hard working. I am sensitive to the needs and feelings of others, and good at responding and providing the care that people need. I speak english and spanish.

I enjoy working with people and most enjoy jobs where you have one-on-one interaction with others. I have a passion for caring for others. I enjoyed taking care of elder family members and would like to help others in this way because if I could still help my grandparents now with the experience I have now I would feel much better.

The Reason I Became A Caregiver Is Because I'm A Very Compassionate & Loving Person I Enjoy Helping Those In Need Especially The Elderly. I have tremendous empathy, patience and respect for each client. I treat each one as I do my father, whom I have been caring for the last 7years.Before caregiving, I managed restaurants for 23 years. I have ALWAYS been a customer service focused person. I wanted to make a change that fulfilled my heart. The thing I enjoy most about my job is assisting people with retaining their independence and self respect, even with a disability. Everyone needs to feel productive, like they contribute. The personal achievement that I am most proud of is that in the last year I have gotten my dad into the best mental, nutritional health that he has been in in the last 30 years.
