I have been a caregiver for over 40 years. Working with Carelinx clients for the last 11 years. I Have worked in the medical field for many years. I am a warm, caring and compassionate person and have always enjoyed helping people, it comes as Second Nature to me, and I was both my Parent's "Right Hand Girl" as they used to call me. I have been in the healthcare profession sense 1979 I have worked convalescent hospitals Board and Care Homes I was a supervisor of an alzheimer's unit which I had 13 girls under me and 15 residents I ordered all meds all supplies for the residents I interacted with their families past meds did incontinent care showers feedings hospice care catheter care administered insulin standby assist assist clients after surgery light housekeeping companionship and more I am licensed through the state of California and I am fingerprinted through Live Scan DOJ and FBI CPR Certification, First Aid Certification, Bloodborne pathogens Certification .

When I was younger I played piano professionally. I also donated my time playing piano for a senior care facility. I did this every Friday night for 5 years. Every person had their own special song that I played for them and they loved singing along. Example: Mr Krause, (102 years old) loved "Let Me Call You Sweetheart" and said I was "his sweetheart." I've always loved and respected seniors and became close with all I've met. I've passed the LiveScan, negative TB test Covid (negative) and registered as HHA with the State of California (current until August 2022.)

Hello, my name is Sandra Cordova, I originally became a caregiver when my daughter fell I'll in November 2011 my duties included medication management, cooking and cleaning, taking her to and from doctors appointments, shopping, companionship, occasional helping with dresing and laundry.
