There are many qualities that make up a great care-giver. I am blessed to have many good traits. Many of these qualities come natural for some of us. I believe that empathy and compassion are the foundation for being a good human being. With that, you can't go wrong. With empathy and compassion as your foundation, a person desires to help others, and respect their dignity and independence. To do your best to understand what they are feeling. As a caregiver I have a passion to learn about a person I care for, to learn their likes and dislikes. Respecting what they believe without judgment. I feel it's important to try your best to understand how a person is feeling about all the changes going on in their lives, with their bodies. We are all changing and growing and I find it remarkable to learn from the people I care for, and to be there for all of their needs. I am an advocate for the safety of mankind and animal kind. I am a mother of grown children and I have 2 young grandchildren and my protective nature comes natural. I will be honored to care for people who are in need of my services. I am also a very reliable person, a very loyal person. And a very honest person. I look forward to meeting you.

X My mother was an R.N. And came home with wonderful stories of the people she cared for. She told me that everyone deserves great and Compassionate Care. I have come to know that there are some people who are naturally compassionate and nurturing. I think it runs in families DNA. My family is one such family. I have always loved listening to older people since I was a child. I derive so much knowledge of life from these people.Nothing feeds my soul and makes me happier than to be able to give compassion and caring help and give a better quality of life to people in need of care. They all have their own stories and so much wisdom is gained from just listening. In turn this gives the patient company and the knowledge that someone cares and is interested in them and that they are valuable and interesting and deserve so much. That's why I became a caregiver If I should be so blessed as to be considered as your caregiver I promise to carefully and compassionately do all that is possible to make life easier for you and your loved one.I have many years of every kind of senior care. From Stroke Heart,Alzheimer's Blindness,Parkinson's ,Diabetes etc.I have many references and a current background report given at interview.Thank you for your consideration.

I started caregiving 5 years ago and have enjoyed it ever since. I have always enjoyed being around seniors and have always been one to help others. My favorite part about being a caregiver is the feeling of purpose. It means a lot to me knowing that I can make a difference in someone else's life. I become very close to my clients and enjoy building strong client-caregiver relationships! My care experience has varied and it has helped me become a well rounded caregiver. Some of the services I provide include housekeeping, bathing/grooming, incontinence care, meal prep, transportation, and more! Outside of caregiving, I nanny for a family with 2 children in NE Fresno and I am a volunteer soccer coach for youth girls at Saroyan Elementary!
Devoting most of my time to the care of someone else is one of the most selfless things someone can do, but it's not only about the time involved. Being able to understand the person you're caring for, knowing their problems, challenges and desires will not only make it easier to care for them, but will undoubtedly improve the relationship you have with each other. Empathy is a big aspect of that, and being able to put yourself in someone else's shoes and be empathetic will only increase the quality of care you're providing. As instrumental as caregivers are, communication is key. It can be something as simple as going through the day's schedule, or complicated as discussing health concerns, but no matter what it is, it must be done well. Subpar communication will do nothing beneficial for the relationship, and in fact, could damage it. Furthermore, as it's likely there's more than one caregiver in the individual's life, and because of all the moving parts, communication is key to get information to all the relevant parties. Whether it's relaying health information or just remaining congenial, communication between caregivers is important, second only to communicating with the individual.
