This is my 35th year as a caregiver and I believe God asked me to do as I do. I believe every single person deserves to be treated as family. One day I may need someone to take care of me and I would want the same for myself. I believe respect should be given to every person. The patients, residents, clients, I care for for are always number one. I will always do what's in their best interest. I promise always to loyal. I can promise you I do know what I'm doing and lots of others have told me that. My work shows how much I truly care. I have been noticed by families.

I have been trained to provide the proper care on bathing, transportation, medicine distribution, and ext. I feel like everyone needs a little help in life and being a mother of 3 I have realized I much enjoy being a caregiver. I enjoy being a caregiver, because I love being apart of someone's life that I can help them live out thier life happy an successful. I enjoy the stories I hear. The caring of another. I'm very proud by the end of the day, week, or month that I have achieved accomplishments of a client's needs, and goals in life. Making someone time better.

I use to work with mentally disabled and I loved taking care of other people. Helping others that can't do things themselves makes me happy. I enjoy putting smiles on other people's faces. Being part of something that is meaningful.

I am 22 a mother of a one year old son I am married I love to be around family and friends. I become inspired to be a care give because of my grandfather he was disabled and I loved helping him making him laugh smile. Making sure he was okay feed bath clothed clean house. And I was proud to do it and would to continue to do it as a career

I enjoy working with elderly. I have been in this field most of my life and it simply comes as a second nature for me. I enjoy helping others.

I have extensive experience in wound care for pressure ulcers and skin disorders. I am very easy going and patient and know how to help with mobility. I see so many people that either have no one at all or have people that cannot do the caregiving. It is not for everyone. what I enjoy most about caregiving is seeing people treated with dignity and like they matter, and not a burden. I am most proud of the fact that I was able to keep my Dad at home, and let him go peacefully at home, instead if a hospital or nursing home.

I received my CNA certificate after my maternal grandmother was diagnosed with stage 4 terminal breast cancer. Prior to her being placed on hospice I would watch what the nurses were doing and when small things would happen I would take over. Example her if would constantly alarm I watched and learned to reset it if the nurse was busy. After my grandmother was placed on hospice she said to me after me helping to care for her she whispered to me moments before passing "baby doll this is your calling, God has placed you here to care for others please peruse this field". And I did just that. I retained my CNA and worked in various nursing homes and always had an interest in death and dying units. I wanted to make them as comfortable and content as possible. I wanted to be there as much as I could for those who had family place them in nursing homes and never visit. I wanted to be there like family . which led me to the choice being offered to a patient that use to come into the ER routinely. Until family of that patient offered me to take care of him at home until his last days... I worked for a nursing home where we had a husband and wife in separate sections of the nursing home I worked with the husband more frequently than the wife but one morning I arrived at work and heard thru our morning meeting report that the wife had passed and they hadn't told the husband . I offered because I was very close to him . long story short family was not going to make arrangements for him to attend her funeral due to limitations he had ie him being in a wheelchair and then not having access to transportation to get him there. Short staffed at the home I offered on my day off to see to him getting to the funeral home church and grave site. It was hard I pushed him thru areas that were grassy muddy and not meant for travel in a wheel chair but I did it . I put myself in his shoes that did and did whatever it took.

Hello , im shannon moore , 50 years old. I chose health care because I've always enjoyed taking care of people., knowing I can make a difference in someone's life and make them feel better , makes me feel better. I was born to be a caretaker. I've always loved helping people. My patience and eager to learn and my love for medical makes my desire for home health even more desirable. I've worked with different kinds of patients. They all bring me joy. I love the elderly. I also enjoy getting to know my resident and their family. That makes it even better. Seeing them happy makes me happy. I try my best to make my residents happy. I have worked in healthcare now for 8 years My favorite achievement was passing EMT school and getting ny associates in college in forensic science medical and law have always interest me.

They say in this business you have to put up walls and boundaries. I have never figured that out nor would I want to. I think that's what makes me great at what I do. I'm a loving and kind person and I love being able to make someone's quality of life the best it can be in the later years of their lives. I find elderly both fascinating and endearing. I fall in love with their own individual spirit. My recommendations speak for themselves. You won't be disappointed. I'm definitely one of a kind in a great way!

What makes me a a great caregiver is that I actually care. I love so genuinely and I am devoted to being whatever and whoever my client needs me to be. I enjoy the feeling of helping others. My last 2 clients I had at my last caregiving job became family and I went out of my way to let them know and feel loved. I go out of my way to make their day to day lives easier and fuller.
