I would like to introduce myself as a candidate for the Caregiver position at Josephine Gardner' Home. As a highly empathetic and caring individual with extensive experience in the caregiving field, I am confident that I can succeed as a Caregiver for Jojo, I also provided home health care for a rotation of 10 patients per week At Aloha care ( Hawaii ) five days a week. My responsibilities included light housework, giving baths, preparing small snacks, reading to patients, helping them around the house, helping patients use the restroom, providing companionship, keeping track of appointments, and feeding patients. I am very passionate about the well-being of my patients. I believe that the elderly are a valuable and important generation, full of wisdom and knowledge and that they need to be cared for and protected. During my young years, I served as a primary caregiver for my grandmother. As a frail woman in her late 80s , she needed a lot of assistance with most day-to-day functions. Since I was there more than my parents, who both worked full-time, I took it upon myself to be her caregiver. The more time I spent with her, the more I realized that although her body may not function, her mind was an ocean of stories and wisdom, waiting to be explored. I will always cherish the time I had with her and the things she taught me. I would like to thank you for your time and consideration. I am a highly empathetic person and enjoy helping others. If I know I have helped eased someone's burden or helped them pursue their passions, I am fulfilled. I have an excellent work ethic and I'm detail oriented. My personality easily lends itself to senior care and companionship. I have a neuroscience and cognitive science education background and am training to become an Occupational Therapist.

What makes me a good caregiver is because I take care of my patient as they were my own parents or my own grandparents. I became a caregiver when my grandparents was not able to function on their own so I decided to quit my job nd took care of them in my home. I'm looking forward to be meeting and working with new clients and families.

I am a family oriented person. Everything I do is for my family and how it will help us progress into better people. I'm very social and have great listening skills. I keep myself alert all times when I'm working. Making sure that my workspace is safe and clean. I'm very positive and even on my off days, I try my best to keep a positive attitude. I love helping elderly people or helping people in general. I'm an LDS member and I can't count how many missionaries I've seen on the street that I've stopped to greet them and even take them out for lunch or simply to conversing with them before they go on about their day. I am actually the first person in our family to become a caregiver, and along the way my husband too, had an interest and have gained experience in that field. The thing I enjoy most about caregiving is spending time with my client and assisting them in anything they need. Over the years while my experience has developed I've learned to love each of my clients while caring for them. I do grow close to all my clients that I've worked for and I love putting a smile on their faces. I'm a reliable person and I'm very honest. I have strong communication skills and would do anything for an opportunity. I think my biggest personal achievement is becoming a stronger member in the church. Making sure that I lead a good example for my children and for their future. However, whatever offer I receive for any future clients I will be grateful for the chance that's given to me!

I like to learn more about the client and i can be sure that i can try to respect what there familys wants me to and i will follow there needs to make them satisfy and happy and it makes me happy too to take good care of my clients is the first priority. It all first started with my parents i took care of both of them i was there caregiver for15yrs+ that's how my caregiver experiences at my own home and i will treat all my clients with love and respect just like as my parents or my own familys i love helping others especially seniors. I like talking with them read book's and tell stories take them for a walk just make them laugh and just makes them happy and let them know that you care for them and that's why you'll there. Im proud of being a part of a client's that i can take care and be a part of there life and make sure that they can trust you and be safe around you and im there to help them anyways i can help them.

I have been a caregiver for 16 yrs i love taking care of people growing up i was the oldest so i had to take care of my mother who had many health issues and when i was 17 i got into the companies and did live in this is where my heart has always been i want to be a register nurse one day.
