Being prideful, positive, and empathetic makes me a great caregiver. As a kid, I'd always tell my parents that I want to do something great for someone. As I got older, my passion for working with the elderly grew! I would volunteer for local nursing homes & go and visit residents on my free time. The things I enjoy the most about being a caregiver are just being able to put a smile on someone's face & be their extra support when they need it! I am most proud of the personal growth such as self control and communication skills that I have learned over the years.

I'm very trustworthy, honest and kind person. I became a caregiver because my grandmother suffer health issues that couldn't not be met in a traditional senior living facility so I took several class to learn all the cares she needed at the time. However one thing that I enjoy the most as a caregiver is smiles and laughter from a patient that's comfortable with the way I care for them. One thing that I person achievement that I'm proud of is giving back to others that needs help.

I became a caregiver as a young child. Helping my cousin, Brian, who had Downs Syndrome, overcome fears and succeed made me deeply happy. I worked my way through college as a live-in caregiver, and relived the joy I had as a young girl helping Brian love life. If I had to give one reason that sets me apart as a caregiver, it is this -- love making others feel safe, content, happy, and challenged. By that, I mean motivated to overcome problems and feel hopeful once again. Overall, I have been caregiving for 15+ years (except for the 20 years I taught school), and I give God the credit for placing the love and compassion in my heart for those who are suffering. When I help others, then I am happy.

I became a CNA 19yrs ago and I love it. I most enjoy helping people that can use the help listen to good stories or just being able to comfort them making them feel like they can trust .

I became a Caregiver because I hope to be a nurse in the future. I thought becoming a Caregiver was also a good fit for me, is something I can do well, and is a great way for me to help others live well. I have been a Caregiver for over 4 years now in multiple settings and am proud of that. A core belief I have and incorporate into my life is to always treat others as I would want to be treated, which is how I approach caring for patients I come across as well. I believe every person is deserving of the best possible care and I enjoy being a person to assist in that. I am very passionate about this and intend to continue to make my life and career of it.

I have 20 plus years of experience specializing in Home Health Care, I have worked directly with Alzheimer's and Dementia, Lewy Body Dementia, Stroke, Parkinson's, Companion Care, Errands, Grocery shop. Clean , Cook, Dr. Appts, Medication reminders, Bathing, Sit and fit exercises, Safety of the home, I have Great references, I really enjoy working with Elderly, I try my best to help people stay in there homes as long as they can, I have a ton of patience when I know a client doesn't want help I know how handle these situation. I'm there to help not take over the independence , I really work at building trust with my client and there family members, I believe in communication with client and family members is very important . I got Covid Vaccine plus booster/Flu Shot.

I'm very outgoing loving caregiver, I love elderly and children. I am a huge animal lover and I love to build relationships with my clients and treating them as my family. My attraction to becoming a caregiver began when my Opa was diagnosed with Alzheimer and dementia, I took care of him and grew love for the field and became very attached to everyone that I took care of. My personal achievement that I am most proud of is starting school and working my way up to starting my own assisted living and home care business.
