I became a caregiver as a young child. Helping my cousin, Brian, who had Downs Syndrome, overcome fears and succeed made me deeply happy. I worked my way through college as a live-in caregiver, and relived the joy I had as a young girl helping Brian love life. If I had to give one reason that sets me apart as a caregiver, it is this -- love making others feel safe, content, happy, and challenged. By that, I mean motivated to overcome problems and feel hopeful once again. Overall, I have been caregiving for 15+ years (except for the 20 years I taught school), and I give God the credit for placing the love and compassion in my heart for those who are suffering. When I help others, then I am happy.

Hello! I'm Celia and I have been serving others my entire life in my occupational fields of HR, education and now nursing as well as in my community as a Girl Scout leader, religious education teacher and moms/tots founder and organizer. I was a leader for an SOS trip to Memphis TN in Orange Mound to build roofs and create gardens for the well deserved residents in that neighborhood. I have raised 4 children who are all currently in college in the areas of Marine Biology, Nursing, Computer Science and Construction Management. I am resilient, outgoing, dependable, caring and compassionate. I enjoy serving others and helping them to be their very BEST version of theirselves no matter what biological age or journey they are currently on. I am open and honest at all times and culturally competent. I serve my church as a greeter and cookie baker and have always been happiest while serving other and helping to make their day brighter!

Hello! My name is Lexi, I'm 21 years old and I have been a CNA since I was 18 years old. I love being a caregiver due to my passion for helping people and driven personality. I've always wanted to help people and found that being a CNA was a great job for me. I love the bonds I make with my patients/residents and how much they can teach me. I am most proud of my more recent certifications in learning how to take care of more critical populations and more advanced skills in nursing.

I have been a caregiver for about 5 years. I started taking care of my grandmother when I was in high school and I really enjoyed it.
