I have always been a people person and enjoyed helping others. It wasn't tell after my mother became ill and I was caring for her. I realized after her passing this is what I wanted to continue to help others . I'm very dependable and willing to help in all areas and give personal attention with respect and compassion .

I'm a mother of 5 and grandmother to 13. I've worked as a caregiver for the last 15+ years and counting. I love my clients and working with the elderly. What started out as a job became second nature and probably alot of that has to do with my cultural background. I loved it so much, I paid for my own training and certifications to be an independent caregiver. I got bonded, insured and registered with the state and I have several great references from the loving families of those whom I have cared for over the years. I've had great experiences with those who I have worked for and with, along with learning from wonderful nurses and doctors that I've interacted with during the care of many of my clients. I am very proud of the achievements I've made in taking the initiative to learn as I go with each client, and each client came with various conditions and ailments, and some with multiple conditions. It has been a great journey of growth and connection for me like no other and I find it so fulfilling to be able to help our elderly population in need. They have been all like family.

I became a caregiver because I like working with the elderly. I learn a lot just by listen to them talking about their lives. My achievement would be owning my own home. I started out taking a class on medical billing. I later went to Concord to get a medical assistant degree. I then took a class on phlebotomy. After all that I decided I wanted to be a nurse.

I have been a caregiver for over 40 years. Working with Carelinx clients for the last 11 years. I Have worked in the medical field for many years. I was a medical assistant, Experience includes Radiology, Phlebotomy. In hospitals as well as privately as a caregiver. I speak 2 other languages. Spanish and Italian. I have knowledge of medications, first aid and CPR. I am experience in caring for people with Cancer, Alzheimers Parkinson, Dialysis, liver transplant Heart attacks, stoke, Neuropathy, Diabetes, Hypertension , and patients in hospice.

-Went to Los Medanos College for EMT (EMERGENCY MEDICAL TRAINING) -Studied CNA at Nightingale Nurses in Pleasant Hill California. More than 20 years of care giving experience. I enjoy being a helpful hand to all my clients and I aim for perfection with all of my visits.

I am always pleasant, I strive to be punctual. Every individual I have worked with has always had good things to say about me. I think the conversation and companionship with the elderly is amazing. I am a retired hairdresser of 35 years and when I was home I new I would have to find something to occupy my time and being a care giver seem to be the best fit for me.Now I am 10 years into the care giving and I love it

I am experienced caregiver since 2010. I went to CNA but I did not renew my license. I am Certified Respiratory Therapist and did practice the profession.

I believe what makes me a great caregiver is that I take care of all my patients as if they were my own family and make sure they are comfortable and most importantly I listen to their needs. I first became interested in health care when my mother was ill and needed care herself and realized that I had a real passion for helping others. I enjoy knowing that the family can be at ease knowing I'm there taking care of their loved ones. At Long Beach Memorial I was know as the "sitter whisper" because whenever they had a difficult patient they would alway assign me that patient and by the end of the day the patient would no longer require restraints or was completely compliant and friendly. They always ask what was my secret and I would say I simply listen to what their needs are.

I am fully vaccinated for Covid 19. I have over 15 years experience as a CNA in Home Health Care and companionship. I would like to utilize my skill set in a private one on one caregiving environment. Perhaps the most important element to my success is that I am very passionate about my patients and trying to meet their needs truly going the extra mile so that I am improving their lives on multiple levels.
