I started by taking Family leave from my job as a Bookkeeper, to care for my Father. I thought at that point 5 years ago, hey I would like to do this for a living. Two years later my Father passed away and I lost my job and began caring for my Mother. At that point I decided to go to school and become certified. Received my CNA in 2013. Have been working since then and love what I'm doing. I am caring, dependable, fun, positive and energetic. I am a team player and can also take the lead. I love to cook, bake and juice. It's a gift for me to take care elder people

I'm a mother of 5 and grandmother to 13. I've worked as a caregiver for the last 15+ years and counting. I love my clients and working with the elderly. What started out as a job became second nature and probably alot of that has to do with my cultural background. I loved it so much, I paid for my own training and certifications to be an independent caregiver. I got bonded, insured and registered with the state and I have several great references from the loving families of those whom I have cared for over the years. I've had great experiences with those who I have worked for and with, along with learning from wonderful nurses and doctors that I've interacted with during the care of many of my clients. I am very proud of the achievements I've made in taking the initiative to learn as I go with each client, and each client came with various conditions and ailments, and some with multiple conditions. It has been a great journey of growth and connection for me like no other and I find it so fulfilling to be able to help our elderly population in need. They have been all like family.
