I love helping others the young and the elder. I try to keep a happy go lucky spirit about me at all times. I was raised by grandparents and at early age I had to learn how to care from them. Later first job as a caretaker was at nursing home was a great experience of helping dressing, grooming, feeding, and just showing love and that I care. What makes me a great caregiver is that I feel very confident in what I do! It's my personal passion. I became a caregiver because at the age of 12, my mom had cancer and I took it upon myself to care for her until she passed. I love caregiving because it's very rewarding and I learn lots of wisdom and knowledge from the elders. My greatest personal achievement is with my patient, whom I cared for 6 yrs, he had Parkinson's and was unable to walk! I was able in the first yr to have him up and out of bed walking again! We even after that started going to the gym to keep him mobile!
