Hello all.. If we decide that I am a match for yourself or your loved one, I will ensure safety of client, respect,well prepared meals, outings if client would like to, etc.... I worked in corporate for 18 years and left to care for my grandmother. After her passing, I realize that caring for others brings me the greatest joy in life. I have been in this field for 7 years mainly hospice patients. I've had a wide scope of patients from demencia, copd, wheelchair bound, blind,etc... Though the years I've discovered my measurements of success in the caregiving field.One being able to give my clients the best last days of there life! There is great joy in bringing laughter to many in their time of need.

I really enjoy helping the patient comfortable in their own space. My grandfather and the way he was treated in a nursing home. He just wanted to be at his home. Helping my patient feel comfortable and relaxed. Letting him or her tell stories about the past,love,kids, what it was like in the old days. Being there for them when they need me most. Making them feel useful and they do matter

My greatest personal achievement is with my patient, whom I cared for 6 yrs, he had Parkinson's and was unable to walk! I was able in the first yr to have him up and out of bed walking again! We even after that started going to the gym to keep him mobile!
