My name is Arlette, My journey working with seniors started when I cared for my grandmother when she needed the help about 10 years ago. After that I noticed I enjoyed caring for the elderly and spending time with them. I love listening to their stories and learning from their experiences. I see them and treat them as my family. I like to help them get the best quality of life under their circumstances. I feel a sense of accomplishment every time it's time for me to leave their house and they have a smile on their faces. That lets me know they are happy and feel safe under my care. I have worked with people suffering from different illness like: Alzheimer's and dementia, cancer, hospice, C Diff. I like to have a good and close relationship with my client's families and work together with them. I can provide letters of recommendation if they are needed.

I am a very loyal caregiver. I started my career taking care of my elderly mother until her last breath. Though I put my life on hold to care for my mother, it was a time I consider to be a blessing. It began my love for care giving. The most recent Home Care Provider was for a client-friend I served for over 7 years. I cared for him up until his very last breath. In the 7 years I worked for him I never called in sick. I feel my expertise is adapting to the clients needs not just in the physical, but emotionally, and by way of companionship. My compassion got me wanting to first become a caregiver. i truly care for people especially those in need, if i can make them smile my heart sings. I am very attentive to the needs and changes that take place. i make myself aware of the emotional and or physical changes that take place with whom i am caring for. i am dependable and show up to provide the care that the person needs and is depending on. Most important i am trustworthy and will not breach that trust by taking advantage of whomever i am caring for.
