I am a very loyal caregiver. I started my career taking care of my elderly mother until her last breath. Though I put my life on hold to care for my mother, it was a time I consider to be a blessing. It began my love for care giving. The most recent Home Care Provider was for a client-friend I served for over 7 years. I cared for him up until his very last breath. In the 7 years I worked for him I never called in sick. I feel my expertise is adapting to the clients needs not just in the physical, but emotionally, and by way of companionship. I enjoy the career of care-giving because it truly is a career that is far reaching and meaningful beyond my imagination.

What makes me feel great about being a caregiver is that the client is loyal,and always happy. I am tolerant,patient,humble,able to work with tough clients.I also treat the client like if he or she was like my family.I don't take anything personal.I love my job and I'm patience I'm always nice and courteous I always put their needs first before mine.

Hello, Although I have a degree/career in the operating room assisting surgeons with surgeries..........I have found my passion in making a tremendous difference in the quality & care of one's life by caregiving and nursing career. My grandparents played a tremendous role in my life (whom I also cared for at the end of their long lives) and I have always been very comfortable & fond of elderly, and geriatric people. I have found it to be an absolute joyful and rewarding experience to be a caregiver & nurse. We are called to take good care of the Widowed & Orphaned. My passion and love for them are evident. Encourage patient to exercise. Review & ask dietary restrictions, preferences, & allergies. Change bed linens, replace trash bags. Always check expiration of food & medicines. Know vital information about patient's condition, treatment plan & any suggested activity.. In a capsule, it is very important to respond immediately to patient's call for assistance and/or treatment with the goal of creating a safe, effective environment to make a difference in the lives of the patient & their families. Patience is a virtue inherent in me. I always work above & beyond my duty for the comfort & safety of my patients. I became a CNA/HHA at age 17.I have always wanted to work in the medical field to help others.I have worked in several facilities as a caregiver working my way to become a med.tech,supervisor and cottage manager.I have worked for a number of families as well.Most recently, i cared for my mother for a period of 5 years+, untill her death at age 95 on 11/11/15.
