My name is Arlette, My journey working with seniors started when I cared for my grandmother when she needed the help about 10 years ago. After that I noticed I enjoyed caring for the elderly and spending time with them. I love listening to their stories and learning from their experiences. I see them and treat them as my family. I like to help them get the best quality of life under their circumstances. I feel a sense of accomplishment every time it's time for me to leave their house and they have a smile on their faces. I became a CNA/HHA at age 17.I have always wanted to work in the medical field to help others.I have worked in several facilities as a caregiver working my way to become a med.tech,supervisor and cottage manager.I have worked for a number of families as well.Most recently, i cared for my mother for a period of 5 years+, untill her death at age 95 on 11/11/15.
