I've been a caregiver for 35 yrs. I started in this field when I was just 17. I love what I do. I come from a medical family and decided at a very young age that I wanted to be a doctor or nurse. I specialize in geriatric dementia and Alzheimers care. Every client needs to know they're truly cared for on every level with love, patience, and kindness. I enjoy learning from them ... they often have amazing histories, stories and lessons to share.I'm often with my clients for the duration of their lives.

Hi! My name is Sabrina Carson. I'm 42yrs old. After 15 yrs of staying at home to raise my 3 children, a caregiving opportunity had been presented to me. I took that opportunity 6 yrs ago and I've been a Caregiving ever since. I like to think that I have a natural approach when it comes to caring for someone. There's no better feeling than being able to assist someone (who otherwise struggles on their own) in accomplishing their daily life's tasks. I sincerely enjoy helping someone concur milestones and/or helping them to achieve and even surpass their goals. To see that sense of accomplishment on one's face feeds their confidence and that feeds my soul. I am a friendly, compassionate / understanding and an extremely patient person that prides myself on having a personal approach with my clients/patients. My goal is for anyone that I encounter to feel comfortable and safe at all times while in my care.

I am excited to be considered for the open position of caretaker that this company has posed. Over my long career in the maintenance. I began working in caretaking more than three years ago, during which time I have advanced to hold more sophisticated. I became a caregiver, because I saw how much a home health aide helped my grandmother through her cancer, it inspired me to help others and give back to the community. I am currently a full-time student athlete at the University of Cal State LA. I enjoyed being a caregiver because it gives you the opportunity to learn about people, and their different backgrounds. My biggest achievement thus far would be me starting a mental health group at my university and letting thousands of students talk to me when things are rough. I went through depression and once I was okay I realized how many people suffer in silence and it was my duty to help bring awareness and make sure students had the resources to keep a good state of mind.In my current position, I maintain an efficient and organized work mentality as I assist in the care of several patients, dealing with mental health illnesses, chronic diseases, dementia, Alzheimer's, disabilities and etc. I have a knack for problem solving and work well independently and with little oversight. I am compassionate, outgoing, and resourceful. I am a self-starter and excel at housekeeping, engaging clients with light activities, and meal preparation. I am familiar with caregiver protocols and learn new procedures quickly. I hope to contribute to your patient care goals.

Graduating from LVN school next month. Looking for work that further my experience with nursing until I take nclex

I am a health care aid with 12 year experience as a caregiver. I have worked with dementia patients as well as patients with other mental and physical disabilities. Very caring and compassionate with others. I am understanding of patient's needs and willing to do whatever it takes to make them as comfortable as possible. I myself had the experience of difficult situations and my goal is to satisfy patient's needs. I am currently enrolled in school to get into the nursing field. I love the medical field and am always willing to learn more. I understand and have empathy for family members as well as patients as this can be a difficult time for both.
