I am a fun, loving and easy to get along person with empathy towards my caregiving careers. I love to talk with new people and try to build up positive relationships as possible. I am willing with confident to provide support and safe for any gender on any care they need as possible. I always respect, provide independent and dignity for my client as possible. I always like to be a good listener to client not only to express themselves but I learnt different good deed from them the old fashioned way, and I take it. I took care of someone with spinal injuries, cancer, alzeimer/dementia and hospice patients and I know the daily challenges and changes they have to go through. I'm a mother of 5 and grandmother to 10. I've worked as a caregiver for the last 15+ years and counting. I love my clients and working with the elderly. What started out as a job became second nature and probably alot of that has to do with my cultural background. I loved it so much, I paid for my own training and certifications to be an independent caregiver. I am very proud of the achievements I've made in taking the initiative to learn as I go with each client, and each client came with various conditions and ailments, and some with multiple conditions. It has been a great journey of growth and connection for me like no other and I find it so fulfilling to be able to help our elderly population in need. They have been all like family.

I've completed training in the following courses through The Public Authority of Santa Clara County, Last phase of life, mental health, nutrition, personal care, pre-paramedical, Alzheimer's & Dementia Basics, first aid, diabetes, and CPR, to name a few. Being the oldest, and only girl of 4, I Inherited the role of caregiver at a very young age. I started as a babysitter and later in life gravitated towards adult care. I have remained a caregiver because I enjoy meeting people from different parts of the world and hearing their lives experiences and the knowledge, and wisdom they often share. For me, there's no greater satisfaction than going home at the end of my workday knowing that my presence made a difference in someone else's day and that I am appreciated.

I like to be a caregiver because I care for the elderly. I enjoy worked working with them because I learn a lot of things. Each client I've worked with are so diverse and interesting I experience something new each time. I'm personally proud my work experience of 25 years because I really like my job.
