I am compassionate and empathetic, genuinely caring for my fellow man. I am a good listener who pays attention to detail, and I pride myself on being self-sufficient. I have completed training in various courses through The Public Authority of Santa Clara County, including topics such as the last phases of life, mental health, nutrition, personal care, pre-paramedical studies, Alzheimer's and dementia basics, first aid, diabetes, and CPR, among others. As the oldest and only girl among four siblings, I inherited the role of caregiver at a very young age. I started as a babysitter and later moved into adult care. I became a Caregiver for my Mother when she was ill. It was about ten years I cared for her. I like assisting people that are in need of having a better quality of living and be most comfortable. I get great satisfaction when I can care for someone that deserves better quality of living and care. I decided to get my Nurses Assist and Home Health Aide certification to do my job better. In the past I worked as a Pharmacy Technician and took Healthcare courses to better myself. I enjoy helping other people and learning of whatever it is.
