As an individual, I am compassionate and empathic, and I have a great deal of respect for other people. In the beginning of my nursing career, I was a certified nursing assistant. I decided to pursue nursing care when my grandfather was on the verge of death. We searched for someone who would care for our family in a respectful and caring manner, but we were unable to find one. So, i decided to pursue nursing, which I love, and now I am working as a registered nurse. Currently, I am working in the medsurg department as well as the emergency room. With six years of nursing experience, I have worked with many different types of patients, such as those with G. Tubes , IV medications, wound care management, and those with storks. It is my belief that one of the most enjoyable things about being a care giver is the fact that I get to learn a lot from the elderly. There is always something new to learn from them when you pay close attention and listen to what they have to say.

I take pride in my work I'm very passionate about my clients think of just like a family member. I took care of my mother and sister when they were sick with cancer and when they both passed away God placed in on my heart and I have been going it every since. I enjoy making my clients happy giving them the best care. I am proud how much compliments from the family out the way that I take such good care of there love ones.

Caregiving is what I live for and has been my job for as long as I can remember. Whether providing a helping hand and services to relatives or neighbors, the appreciation for companionship means the world to me because the responsibility is shared amongst the caregiver and patient for personal achievement and growth!

After years of being at the bedside and witnessing far too many elderly and disabled clients admitted with preventable health ailments- I've decided to transition my career to provide quality care and help my community prevent these cases from happening. I am a certified nurse aide. I have 36 plus years experience in home and out of home.Some nursing home experience . I have done hospice care . I have CPR certification. I enjoy taking care of people I think it's a gift given to me by God .I work with people well . I put there needs before mine . I take care of them as if they are my own and I treat them as I would want to be treated. My own down fall is I fall in love with them and I cry with them. I laugh with them and when they are gone I grieve for them. I care for them as if they are my family .

My name is MacKenzie-Paige Dare Harrison. I am 23 years old and currently a stay at home mother of a four year old. I believe that there is a certain kind of person that has to care for others that are in need. My passion for and love to help others is what i think makes me a great caregiver. I knew from a very young age that I wanted to help others. It was dream or my God given purpose to be a caregiver. I love seeing the smiling faces of people when you interact and get to know them. Knowing that you are sharing the love and compassionate ways of the Lord Jesus Christ is what makes me enjoy being a caregiver. I do it because whoever I am taking care of is my family and I want everyone to be shown the kindness and love that comes with a caregiver that truly cares about the people. It is not about a paycheck to me, it is about restoring the health and well being of others in the most caring and loving way possible that is the payment me. One personal achievement that I am really proud of is never letting the enemy deterring me from what the Lord wants for me and the people around me. I was raised in a Christian home by my grandma, mom and dad. I attended a vocational tech school for High school where I studied nursing. I was a dental radiographer and expanded functions assistant for 18 years. I quit that to raise my sons during their teen years. I owned my own home day care business for 14 years. I went back to school and became a phlebotomist. After four years I was bored and went back to school to become a CNA. I have worked in hospitals and Hospice Houses. I have taken care of elderly in their homes because of cancer and/or hip replacements. I have worked in the ER on 12 hour shifts. I love taking care of people.

I have the desire to want to help. By showing both empathy and compassion , constantly showing the person that I am caring for know that i care about the person and want to do what I can to help them.
