I spent 11 years in the military in which I was honorably discharged at the end of 2012. I completed and received an associate degree in art while serving. I continued my education while being unemployed from the time I was released from the military until April of 2013 and earned a bachelor degree in psychology. A week later I began practical nursing school and graduated top of my class a year later and was rewarded the leadership award. I passed my state board and earned my Practical Nursing license with an IV certification. I have since worked as an admission nurse, hospice nurse, agency nurse, floor nurse, managed a long term care facility, and was a day shift manager as well as a day shift unit supervisor. I recently completed my associate's degree in science in nursing and am waiting to sit for boards for my registered nursing license. I am looking to slowly transition from the facility setting into private duty helping people in their home setting.

I have been a care giver all my life beginning with taking care of my dad when he was at the end stage of life. I dedicated myself to his wellbeing and provided hospice type care for three years. That is where my passion began for caring for the elderly and those who cannot care for themselves. Hi, I am very energetic person, outgoing, love to watch sports,love to play sports, i love cutting grass, I love going out and doing stuff outside.I love being with my family, I love going to church. I love meeting a lot of people. I've worked since I was 16 years old. I have 3 beautiful kids. I had 3 grandparents that passed away. I took care of them all the time. I was there everyday that they needed me and I loved dong that. They all had different kind of cancer. It broke my heart when they all passed away so I went and applied at Costco and got a full time job. Then I realized what I love doing was taking care of people. I'm a family person. I have neighbors that call me and ask if i can do something for them and I mostly say yes. I'll come over and talk or fix some thing.
