I am a pretty easy going person I have a neutral personality so I get along with pretty much anyone. I have been a cna for over 13 years. I have worked in many different aspects of the field so I know my way around. I'm outgoing and love to encourage independence and being able to help people conquer daily tasks. I enjoy seeing them laugh and joke and have a smile on their face. I am proud that I am able to help them achieve daily goals and keep a smile and laughing and be happy while doing it.

First off I am a huge hearted person! I don't need many strangers and my love for other individuals shines Bright through everything that I do. I'm very detail oriented and always willing to jump in and learn something new do what it takes to complete the task at hand as thoroughly and as efficiently as possible. And being a caregiver has been something that I have done most of my life my mother worked in the medical field and started in respiratory and moved into her MD license and so growing up in that type of environment it was just something that came naturally to me. Being a caregiver is just an extension of my family basically, is what that means is that I take those that I'm providing care for and love them and care for them just as much as I would is if they were a member of my family. What I love most about being a caregiver is simply that I am able to help somebody in need and not for me is the most rewarding feeling that I could receive from the position.

I am 48 years old and spent 20 years in the Corporate world working for E*Trade and Discover. I was unhappy. So I left CA to care for my mom. I decided to get my business license and promote myself. I genuinely love people!! Especially the Elderly. I have met and maintained such wonderful people with so many stories and of all different lifestyles! My second passion is cooking. I am a huge animal lover! I grew up surfing in CA and skiing in Alaska. I have worked with people with all different types of ailments or challenges, Dementia, Stroke recovery which requires a lot of physical work, Parkinson's and Hospice. I became a caregiver to my sister in Los Angeles, CA, who had cancer in 2015. After she passed away, I knew that this was my calling. I was told by the staff at Cedar Saini that they appreciated my help while I was there looking after my sister. The staff acknowledged my patience and compassion towards other patients also. I earned my CNA and worked in a nursing home as well as providing in home care for others who were like my sister. My life changed, as I knew there was no better way for me to contribute to others by helping them daily. I enjoyed their company and looked forward to making a difference!
