Personality traits that help me be a great caregiver include compassion, integrity, reliability, and my outgoing nature. I enjoy being with people and learning from them. I also really enjoy helping people. What attracted me to being a caregiver is the same thing that attracted me to being an EMT - helping people. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is learning from people that are more experienced than I. Also, I do enjoy helping people and spending time with them. A personal achievement that I am proud of is my kids. I have 3 kids, ages 22, 10, and about to turn 3. A boy and 2 girls. They are my world. Another achievement I am proud of is being a firefighter/ EMT. My dad was a firefighter/EMT and I was very proud to follow in his footsteps. He was my hero. One more thing I am proud of, that is a work in progress, is that I am currently learning how to code. I am almost done learning Python. I am very proud of that.

My personal achievement is, I'm proud as a Czech citizen that I managed to integrate into a new society and to see my son grow into a successful man.

I retired this year and decided I would not be home sitting down and getting lonely or flabby. I have been providing respite care for about 4 years for church members during weekends so I decided to make it my retirement job. I am very patient, love to clean, cook, chat. I have been taking care of hospice and assisted living seniors for several years during weekends while working full time during the week so I am now doing it for an agency and also taking clients on my own. What I like the most about my caregiving job is to see my seniors being happy and no longer scared and lonely wondering who will help them to stay independent as long as they can.

Since I was young I have wanted to help people and care for them, I have a huge heart and I am very compassionate. I took care of my grandfather back in January of 2019 He was diagnosed with Lung Cancer and was put on hospice, I knew That there was nothing else I would rather do than Help as many people that I can that could use my help.

Hello! My name is Ian, I'm 20 years old and I love helping people, anything you need done I am that guy. When I look at elderly people with spouses that have passed or they have some type of disability it's crazy how fast I feel sympathy. I use to suffer from depression from loses and am slowly recovering day by day but I am always thinking positive. I have reliable transportation (my own car), I am willing to work anything you would have to offer as I am very flexible, very young and open minded. I am very musically inclined and always up for playing instruments to help ease the mood, I am very friendly and like I said I'm always looking to help people!

I'm a happy bubbly person. I'm always very friendly. I started as a caregiver because of my grandmother. She had lung cancer and wasn't able to do much of anything on her own.
